Greg is awesome! I highly recommend him for dog training and boarding. I brought my French Bulldog in for two weeks of training and Greg did a fantastic job. My dog, Gus, has an attitude and personality that is second to none. Greg did a great job working with him and addressing the issues I had with him. The education has not ended there. I have messaged him a few times after the training and he is always quick to respond or to have me send a video of Gus so he can help me make any corrections I need to make. Gus also has a good handful of health issues. Greg was very accommodating and attentive to take care of Gus’ “quirks”. He also is very in tune with the dogs and messages if he is concerned about bathroom habits or other things. I would definitely recommend Greg and Mavis to anyone. Greg is one of the nicest and most sincere men I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and he has helped me tremendously with Gus. You won’t be disappointed with the choice to use Mavis!

We did the 5 week training program Greg offers with our two German shepherd puppies (Raven & Athena). He was very informative and knows many tricks and tips that went into helping training our puppies. Greg will give you the guidance and training advise needed, but ultimately it comes down to the owner to put in the work. The saying is definitely true "You will get out, what you put in" An Greg will know if you've been putting in effort at home or not. He was very flexible with our schedule and we appreciate that! Greg went above and beyond in giving us fun ideas or as he calls "party tricks" that we can do for fun but ultimately is mentally challenging for our puppies to keep them engaged and learning! We will be definitely be in touch and 110% recommend Mavis K9 Academy to anyone looking for K9 training.

Greg was fantastic to work with right from the start. At the initial phone call to set up the appointment, he offered us solutions to some immediate concerns we were having with our Lab puppy. We did the 5 lesson package and our puppy loved it! We learned so much about how our behavior was affecting our dog. Greg was patient with all our questions and concerns offering us constructive criticism when necessary. Even after we finished the class, he welcomed our questions with f/u issues.
