Mayday Dog Training

Nick was amazing. I rescued a lab shepherd mix and he was so sweet to our family but very aggressive to everyone else and dog aggressive. Nick took him even after he tried to bite him when they met. Brutus was NOT easy but Nick got him to trust him and then managed to teach him how to sit and stay. To place - and stay there. He taught Brutus to heel and then taught me how to control him. Brutus still has some issues but I can control him and Nick gave us the tools to keep this sweet dog who had been abused as a puppy. Nick and his sweet wife saved Brutus and taught us how to be better owners. I highly recommend him. I’m happy to talk to anyone who wants to know more! Highly recommend!! No one better.

Nick and his team work miracles! We rescued a year old Aussie Retriever who was a happy and loving bundle of completely untrained energy. She was a terror jumping on adults and getting the zoomies all over the house. Two weeks with Mayday and Zoey came home with manners and we came home with the tools needed to keep up her training. The best part has been the service. Zoey was super well taken care of (and crate trained for us while she was there!) Nick is very responsive with small tips and tricks by text. He scheduled our drop off, pick up, and our follow up around our schedule and even did our follow up in a public location so Zoey (and most importantly - me and my 8 year old) could get help with more leash training. About 10 more minutes of tips and tricks and Zoey was as calm as can be while leash walking around strangers and other dogs.

We took our 7 month old Bluetick Coonhound/Lab mix to do 2 weeks, off leash training a couple weeks ago and we are extremely pleased with the results. Before training our dog would pull on his leash and try to walk us. Our boys had a hard time controlling him. Now he can walk right next to us On/off leash and he actually listens and obeys commands. The other day my husband was walking him and he passed by 3 different dogs. He made our dog sit and stay while the other dogs walked by. The other dogs where pulling on their leash and their owner had to pull them back. Our dog never moved and stayed in his spot while the other dogs passed. We constantly keep up his training at home and are very impressed with his skills. Highly recommend Mayday dog training!
