Mayday Dog Training

This has been such a great and positive experience for my yorkie, Rocky, and my family. Nick described him as a BIG Alpha trapped in a little dog's body. You can't even imagine what a strong personality Rocky has! A huge THANKS to Nick for working with Rocky and being so patient with me. I was/ am ?? definitely part of the problem. I'm too soft-hearted and give in all the time. However, this was necessary for Rocky's safety and our sanity. It was worth every penny and such a good investment for all of us. Whether Nick likes it or not, he is bonded with our family now!! LOL He has taught me that consistency and firmness is the key, but I can still be gentle and loving with Rocky. Thank you Nick! You are an exceptional person--my new dog whisperer!! :)

I had a great experience with Nick May. We left our Great Dane who was a Harvey rescue and was amazed at the difference a week with Nick made. My dog GiGi is a brand new improved dog. Very obedient, and does well with other dogs now. Being a Harvey rescue GiGi had a separation issue along with being scared of the rain. Since training, she does well with separation and rain. One of our biggest issues was GiGi jumps (being a Great Dane she has knocked plenty of people over..). She no longer jumps. Beyond impressed with Mayday Dog Training and will only use Nick for any of my future dog needs. 5/5 stars!

We placed our pup (pepper) in the two week program and the results met then exceeded all our expectations! We can confidently take her out and about with out worry. Granted that you continue with and reinforce the training and methods that Nick will instill in your dog and teach you. Before temperament: we would have a hard time walking or running her, we couldn’t trust her off lead, she would jump, she would bark at anything and everything and be distracted easily, she was not comfortable being crated and would help and wimper, and we had to place her in a dog day care so we could manage her at home. Before Mayday training: we did have her go through a one week board&train with another trainer. That did not have the results expected. Her temperament now: Walking and running her a a breeze, we can trust her of lead with supervision (on our family’s ranch), her barking at everything has lessened, she is comfortable being crated, we no longer need to use a dog daycare. Her confidence has increased and her temperament is more focused (she still has her personality!!) I highly recommend Nick and Mayday dog Training. I’ll Put it this way. We would take her out and people would keep their distance and be apprehensive. Now we get people actively complimenting her behavior and zero apprehension.

I can’t say enough great things about Mayday Dog training. We took our Rottweiler, King, to Nick two years ago for boars & train it has been, hands-down, the best investment for our dog. It is important to be able to trust training your dog goes through because the become a part of yours family. With two small children, this was important to me. When you take your dog to Nick, your dog isn’t one of many dogs waiting for a few hours of training. Your dog is 24/7 in training boot camp with Nick. I love that he also keeps you updated with daily text and videos. After one day, dogs have shown huge improvements. Imagine a whole week. If you have reservations about training for your dog, I highly recommend Mayday Dog Training. It is 1000% worth it. Nick, we are so grateful for you and your wife and what you did for King. You really made us proud of King.

We were blown away at how amazing Nick was with our dogs. We are first time dog owners and have no experience with training other than YouTube dog training binge sessions. Having no children of our own, our dogs are our babies. We have two German Shepherd/ Lab mixes so they are very big babies. When choosing the right trainer, we were severely anxious, having no knowledge or direction to go on. We stumbled across an add on google for MayDay Dog Training and decided to give Nick a call. From the first phone call, Nick was willing to help us out with excellent customer service. He was friendly and kind willing to work with our schedules and budget. When we dropped off our dogs for a 5 day kennel training, we were blown away at how sweet and attentive he was to our 90 lb puppies. You can really tell that this isn’t just his job. He loves dogs and genuinely wants to help them and their owners which was so important to us. Picking up our dogs after the 5 days was the best experience. They knew so many commands and actually listened which was amazing. They knew to heel, sit, place (stay) and a number of fun tricks which was so fun to watch. My wife and I are so thankful to Nick for his patience with our dogs and his dedication. We both work full time and having someone train our dogs the way we would train them, has meant the world to us. We highly recommend MayDay Dog training to any and everyone. Thank you Nick!
