Mecole's Mobile Dog School

I found Mecole's Dog School by chance and it has been a wonderful experience. I am in need of a service dog for mobility issues however wanted to be a big part of the puppy bonding and training instead of getting a pre-trained dog. Christine and her son Jaysiah are enthusiastic, knowledgable and creative and were happy to help us train in service dog behaviors. I chose the day school option and it works out nicely, I drop her off in the morning and come back in the afternoon to work with my pup on the new commands. As a result, my pup is successfully on her journey to service dog status!

I have a 7 month old husky puppy. We were starting to notice that he was a little more than an average puppy. He showed normal signs of puppy hyperness but also started showing slight signs of aggression. He is a stubborn puppy who chooses when he wants to listen and when not to. We decided it was time to call in reinforcement before it got too out of control. We called multiple people and different companies. Now a days, just like everyone in the u.s., we are on a budget. So we reached out to mecoles mobile dog school and set up an appointment . At the first appointment, we knew it was the place for us. She taught us a lot. Before we left, we felt a sigh of relief knowing there was hope for this little pup and us (our sanities) she is teaching us to listen to him and his demeanor. We are now 5 trainings in and he is so much more obedient already. My puppy responds to her and loves going to (school) every week. One of the best parts of the whole thing, she is affordable. While we know we have a ways to go still to get this handsome crazy pup where he needs to be, we couldn't imagine having anyone other than Christine to light the path of our road on this journey. Christine did such an excellent job with training! We have a 7mo German Shepard who was highly reactive and didn’t get the socialization she needed early on. She is a changed dog now and we couldn’t be happier. She now waits for us to say “Okay let’s go” instead of rocketing out of the door. Before she couldn’t go on a walk in our neighborhood without acting very aggressively towards other people and dogs. Christine noticed that she was really just afraid and timid, and took a different approach to help build her confidence. We now have such a great dog and I can’t recommend Christine highly enough! Totally fair rates even with additional gas fees since we’re quite a ways away but having Christine come to our house for each session has been very convenient. Thanks again Christine! You’ve made our lives much easier.

Christine has been amazing in training our Akita puppy. As many dog lovers out there know, Akitas are one of the most difficult breeds to train because of their head strong personality. But Christine was a natural in establishing herself as a pack leader with our dog and it was near instantaneous how she helped us control our dog's behavior. The biggest worry my wife & I had was that we may have to give up our puppy as we couldn't trust him with our toddler & infant. But because of Christine we no longer have to worry about that. The training with our dog was secondary. The key to the change in behavior of our puppy was how Christine trained my family and I how to be good pack leaders to our puppy. That's where it made a huge difference. I would recommend her to anyone.
