FirstBarkKaty has been nothing short of amazing. I sadly was conned by a different local trainer where my pet was mistreated. Katy was more than happy to take us on and start helping to get my 5mo old pup trained properly. In just a few sessions I’ve learned so much about how to communicate and train my puppy. We only use the most effective, dog friendly and up to date training methods to ensure the best possible experience for all of our clients. Meraki Dog Training fits any dogs needs from learning the basics, to off leash training. Highly recommend for any age of dog.

If you are struggling to communicate with your dog, or can’t quite get on the same page - PLEASE go see Katy before rehoming them. One of our rescues really dislikes other dogs, and her fear/anxiety would immediately turn into aggression. We couldn’t take her on walks, couldn’t let her around other dogs aside from our own, she’s bitten off all of the headrests in our truck, and she had completely ruined the trim on our front door trying to get to whoever/whatever is on the other side. She had turned on us a couple of times and I was ready to find her another home because I didn’t know how to handle her. Working with Katy at Meraki Dog Training has made a NIGHT and DAY difference. It’s not only training for your dog, but also you and whomever else may be handling them. We were able to take Roxie on her first structured pack walk with 33 other dogs, and she fell right in line and didn’t need corrected even one time. Katy has all kinds of different tools and skills to teach and will adjust to you and your dog wherever you are in their training process. Because of Katy, Roxie is going to stay with us at home where she belongs. ❤️
Katy has helped our puppy be his best self and helped us work on multiple issues that have surfaced throughout his puppy-hood. She is friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating with schedules. Her advise is very pointed, well reasoned and easy to follow.
