At Metropolitan K-9 in Glen Burnie, we believe every dog/handler is an individual and should be treated as such. Our method of training is positive motivation. We teach the dog using motivational methods rather than forcing the dog. This creates a much happier dog, more eager to please, as well as a stronger bond between you and your canine friend. Metropolitan K-9 will come up with a plan to help you reach your dog training goals. Be it basic obedience dog training at home, or top-notch competition, our knowledge of canine behavior and experience in dog training will get you there. Unlike other dog training schools like PetSmart and Petco training classes, our programs are fully customizable

This guy has amazing credentials. I've called him 3 times and he had never called back. My assumption is he has gone out of business. I've read another review that had the same experience.

If you’ve called more than that, I do apologize, but I didn’t get those messages. Greg is probably one of the most kind individuals I’ve met in the realm of dog sports. He’s extremely knowledgeable while also being down to earth and easy to have a conversation with. If you’ve come across his company as a resource to help you with your dog, you don’t have to look any further.

I was really disappointed when Greg was a no show for our evaluation appt. He did not return my emails and didn't bother to contact me until days later when I told him I intended to leave negative reviews on social media. Too bad, I had high hopes.

I’m sorry, this flew under my radar. I don’t mind the bad review. I didn’t show up for our meet and greet and that’s on me. However, you’re not being completely honest here. It was one email on the 18th, not emails. I contacted you the next day when you text me 56 minutes later. You had already left your review before I text you back. I text you back anyway because I was wrong and wanted to make it right. Not one time in our texts or follow up emails did I mention your review. My goal was to attempt to make you happy. Not take back your review. I offered you a discount and extra sessions. You declined.<br>I hope all is well and you found someone to work with your pup.

We have a German Shepherd that was trained and have been long time customers of Metropolitan K-9. Greg uses positive feedback (treat reward) reinforcements for correct behavior. He taught us by demonstration and return demonstrations how to train our dog. Greg also gives you a detailed plan for referring to when you need help. Most importantly, they just don't drop you, once your paid training period is over. They are available via email or phone for consultation and will come back if you need further help. Metropolitan K-9 is very professional, punctual and is a proven, outstanding Trainer. I Recommend Metropolitan K-9 to train any dog you have that needs to be trained. Metropolitan K9 also offers boarding based on availability. Metropolitan K-9 is the best in Dog training I have ever experienced. I strongly Recommend! Call Metropolitan K-9 today, you won't be disappointed!
