It depends on which class you're interested in. We offer a variety of services and prices. The first step is to talk with one of our trainers during a Needs Assessment as that will determine which program or programs you should consider along with pricing. Prior to that talk its premature to talk about prices because then you will be comparing apples to oranges instead of apples to apples.

I have done several group training classes with my puppy Luka at Michigan Dog Training’s. He is a handful and I needed alot of help! The trainers are super knowledgeable and very patient. The class sizes are relatively small so there is a lot of individual attention. I looked at several places for training and respect Michigan Dog Training’s approach which is positive reinforcement versus pinch collars and other more forceful training techniques. I also liked that they offered classes that involve the dog and the owner since we both needed training. The prices are reasonable too and you can pay by the class. Highly recommend - we have learned so much!

My dog Bandit and I really enjoyed our training and socialization sessions. It was very much needed. He did well and I did better than I had been. I’d still like to continue with some classes next year too.

He was my best friend and my whole world. Within a few months of sending him here, he was dead. He developed epilepsy immediately after being sent here. He did not have epilepsy before. My best friend is now dead and they are using his photo for advertising. Maybe show the photos where you damaged his brain, gave him epilepsy and killed him? That way it can at least be honest advertising. Thanks for everything!

Dear Drew, I understand that receiving unexpected news about your best friend's health and life ending way too soon, can be very distressing then as well as now. It’s important to clarify that while stress (simple things such as a change in their environment, change in their routine, hearing a loud sound, etc. can trigger seizures in dogs “predisposed to epilepsy,” it does not cause the condition itself. I understand that this can be a complex topic and I appreciate the conversations I’ve had with your dad regarding vaccinations and their role in your dog's health. I want to clarify that we take the health and well-being of all dogs in our care very seriously. Our training environment is designed to be safe and supportive, and we strive to minimize any stressors that could impact your dog's experience. Additionally, Moses didn’t appear to be stressed any time before the seizure happened. Regarding your concerns about vaccines, I want to emphasize that our policies are designed in accordance with veterinary guidelines and are aimed at protecting all dogs in our care. We always strive to provide a safe and supportive environment, and I respected your right to make choices that you felt were best for your dog. In regard to the pictures, they were posted while he was in the program and not just recently. Our purpose in doing so back then, was so you would have a visual way of seeing how Moses was doing in training. We kept in contact with you and your dad during the training as well as kept in contact with your dad: by talking with him at the Emergency Vet Hospital, via text in April 2025 and I called your dad on May 24, 2005 to check in with him as to how Moses and you were doing. He advised that Mosses had six additional seizures, at home. In response to your statement: “….Maybe show the photos where you damaged his brain, gave him epilepsy and killed him?….” We did not do any of that. However, I understand that you are still grieving and it’s normal to want to blame someone, even when they aren’t responsible. I also understand that you didn’t know that while stress can trigger a seizure, it does not cause epilepsy; a dog has to be predisposed to it. If there are specific concerns or experiences you’d like to discuss further, I am more than willing to listen and assist if I can. Just give me a call at 734-892-1447. We had cycled through several trainers when she was younger with little success and had frankly given up. Our dog is still the strong-willed and spunky girl that she’s always been but the difference in her behavioral range now is night and day and we are able to relax much more when she is around other people!
