Our premier immersive training program. Your dog stays with us and receives professional daily training from our experts, fast-tracking their obedience and transforming their behavior by eliminating bad habits and encouraging good ones.
This package teaches basic obedience or help with behavior modification or off-leash training. Board & Stay packages last for 2 weeks for the canine and 3 for the owner. First session is day of pickup and then moves to one session per week for the following 2 weeks of applying.

After my neighbor abandoned his dog last summer, I integrated him into my home on an emergency basis with my other dog. Then, my dog did the unthinkable: he attacked the new little guy. I was horrified and lived in a house divided full of tension. I constantly cycled them through to give them a break outside or with family attention time. James gave me the tools to help my dogs respect me as the leader and to relax and let me handle the house. It took a lot of work and patience, but my dogs now get along and I have the knowledge to understand their behavior, their needs, and how to help them be the best dogs they can be. This was life changing for me and my dogs.
Highly recommend! James is THE BEST! He has helped me so much with my golden retriever, Teddy. Our walks are so much more enjoyable without pulling. He is also just all around better behaved. James has given me so many other useful tips and is just a kind soul, period.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! What we received from Midas Touch Dog Training and working directly with James Stokes is so wonderfully immeasurable, perfect and EXACTLY what we needed. We had recently adopted 2 dogs separately, a 6yr old German Shepherd, and a 7 month mixed puppy. What we needed is exactly the outcome of what James teaches - relationship through building trust WHILE doing the work. Our German Shepherd, Sophie, was rehomed to us at 6 years old - we were new to each other and she had so much nervous energy from change midlife but is such an incredibly intelligent dog! Our puppy, Snickers, was from an abandoned litter, loves the GSD, but scared of the world. I felt overwhelmed in thinking they needed such different things from me to be happy and healthy in our home. What James helped me understand is that they each need the same level of leadership from me, but for different reasons. He encouraged me by reminding me that I'm not going to disappoint them, because I'm doing my best and giving my best for them. The investment of time and energy James consciously made toward imparting insight to our situation specifically, and wisdom that will last a lifetime, is invaluable!! The training actually ended up being instrumental for me and my growth into being a stable & trusted leader. This shift in me supported the development of a trusted relationship between me and each of the dogs. That is exactly what we needed!! Yes, we can now perform the commands we learned in each lesson, but those are just control/connection points - the relationship we are able to continue building and the trust in our pack is priceless. Sophie is less anxious, now more at peace, has happy excitement when we work together, and is content. Snickers is gaining confidence, and her worry is transitioning to peaceful, relaxed happy puppy behavior. In the midst of training for our girls, we were also given the opportunity to bring a giant boy, a Tibetan Mastiff puppy, Samson, into our pack to make it complete. James has been an incredible teacher and resource through the crunch of building our pack. His experience has given understanding to behavior and what each needs, what we need to feel supported in our leadership, and has helped craft the best culture for our 3 new pups - being new to us, new to each other. We now understand that we are so important to the process- we are in place to facilitate our dogs' success. We are so much better for the time with Midas Touch Dog Training with James Stokes - individually and together! It has been an outstanding, life-changing experience! I have no doubt we will stay close to Midas Touch as we progress the work at home, and will definitely continue to tap into the knowledge and experience that James Stokes has to offer!
With James expert training and coaching both my puppy and I learned skills to allow us to share a home. Before our first session I wasn’t sure I could keep this puppy. James taught us so much!
