We provide excellent dog training that will take your unruly dog from difficult to a gem to be around. We offer boarding, doggie day care, obedience classes, puppy classes, advanced obedience classes, private lessons, plus 1 & 2 week Board and Train program. We now offer dog grooming! I have owned GSD's my whole life. And recently more or less rescued one that had never been messed with or taught any obedience. He couldn't walk off leash, he had no recall, he was very out of control, and had issues nipping at people. I was at my wits end. And didn't know where to turn. I was referred here and after just one one hour session, I was convinced it wasn't even my dog I brought home. Hank thoroughly explained how to use the tools given to me and tips and tricks at home. He saved my sanity and saved Thor. I can't say enough good about the staff, facility, and results that come from this place. I am blown away. And will definitely be scheduling more private sessions to continue my dogs training.

The owner assured my client that the dog would be gently trained, She was not, and was trained by an assistant, and very intimidated. For a "tougher" dog, that may be acceptable, but I can definitely not recommend the board and stay training for a dog with a softer temperament, She resented and was afraid to do the exercises at home, and during her 2 weeks there, she was left in the hot sun (for playtime) with only a kiddie pool for water, and she is a heavily coated dog. The owners were given minimal training in two short sessions on how to work with her at home. She also was filthy after the 2 weeks, and instead of bathing her, they charged my client over $100. to lean up the dog they'd gotten get dirty and smelly. She also came home with an eye infection that they denied happened there (at first) then with some push back agreed that it happened there and paid the vet bill. I cannot recommend this place, as they use force techniques and say they don't to placate the client, than after 'training" do not even care to call and check on your dog. They want your money and once they get it, your dog is a 'thing' and basically ignored in a kennel until it's time for the force training. No dog deserves that. and I am experienced show dog trainer of 47 years.. My client does not live where I am, and I am also an AKC Obedience judge. It has taken the dog two weeks at home to return to her normal self and not be "cowed" and distrustful. Wichita Dog Training Club is a good alternative with excellent trainers for all breeds

Hello Barb Cole, You have never been a customer here. We do know who you are talking about though and there are two sides to every story. We have spoken to "your client" about Ava many times since Ava has left our kennel. The biggest concern for Ava, was not coming back when called and she about got hit by car because she was chasing it she wouldn't listen to her owner. Ava was treated with kindness the whole time she was here. I can tell you that Hank and Zoe spent a great amount of time with Ava to get her to trust and learn from them. During Ava's time here she came out of her shell and socialized with our staff and other dogs. We have text messages on Aug 17, 2022 from your client that they requested grooming services for Ava, as she had never in her life had a bath. We sent the estimate to them through text a week before they were scheduled to pick her up. We also talked to them through text on Aug 18, 2022 about how we thought that the one week was good for her since they didn't want to use an e-collar on her. "Your Client" insisted that he wanted her trained on this so after meeting with them on on Aug 22, 2022, we continued on that path. Ava was in our doggy daycare while she was not being trained. Our daycare is monitored by staff the whole time dogs are outside. On the days that is was very hot, (over 100 degrees) we brought her in around noon to let her cool off in the air conditioning as she is a thick coated dog that is not used to being outside in that hot of weather. She did play in pools and with other dogs while she was her to help her learn how to socialize in a variety of ways. Unfortunately, some dogs do have a problem with allergies while they are here and get a very slight eye infection, most go away on their own, but some do require an antibiotic. We know that "Your client" runs a rescue and that they paid with a check from the rescue so we decided to pay the $69 vet bill to be nice and help them out. When "Your Client" came to our facility to pick up Ava's collar, Hank talked with her and asked her how the training was going and she answered "It is going great, and she is coming back to us". We tell ALL of our board and train customers to contact us and to come back if they need additional help and we will help them at no additional charge. Hank will even go to customers houses to make sure the dog is doing ok and to help the owners out if they are having problems at home that we can't fix at our facility. In closing Barb, if you would like to come out and see our facility, meet our staff and see ALL of the documentation we have on this, please feel free to give me a call and we can schedule a visit.

This place is the BEST.. I took my Bella to them. They are super professional. Bella is a completely new pup. She learned so much. I did the 1 week board and train.
