5 Stars! Rosey is the 2nd dog I have had Chris train for a family pet and to use as an animal-assisted therapy dog. Rosey was unruly, anxious, nipped, and jumped. Now she is calm, confident, and loveable. She is relaxed, with no nip, playful but attentive, obedient and now a trusted member of our practice and family. I get to take her everywhere. Chris spent time with both my wife and I to teach us how to communicate with what we want from the dog as well as when the dog is communicating with us. Having this training is worth every penny! I get to have a partnership with the dog where I can enjoy her and she can be happy pleasing our family. I highly recommend Midwest Dog Training. Simply put--Chris just makes your dog partnership more enjoyable.

I sent my 2 yr. old German Shepard to Chris and Bryan. Odin was aggressive to other dogs and some people. His commands were meet when he felt like doing them. After the 3 week course Odin is now on command with no hesitation and the aggressive behavior is at a minimum to none at all . I would recommend Midwest Dog Training to any one. I also called on a daily basis to check on Odin and Bryan was always more than happy to take the time to talk to me and give me updates on Odin. Very Pleased with the services!! Thank You

We’ve had our one-year old Golden Retriever back from a 6-week training session at Midwest Dog Training for about a week now, and we’re very pleased with Zephyr’s progress. I was quite frustrated with Zephyr; despite our training efforts, he behaved poorly: he ignored us most of the time, was destructive (furniture, shoes, paper), and pulled on the leash, not to mention poor door manners and jumping on people. Clearly we needed professionals to get Zephyr back on track so we could enjoy being around our dog. Enter Midwest Dog Training! Zephyr’s bad behaviors have decreased by 90%, and he is becoming obedient, loveable and a pleasure to be around. He still has a lot of puppy in him, so he’s not perfect, but what a difference there is from before training! We found the pick-up and drop-off very convenient. Todd brought Zephyr back to us and gave us detailed instructions on how to reinforce the training, and we are determined to continue the training process to keep the gains that we’ve seen. (It turns out you are never finished with training your dog). Todd also emphasized that they are available if problems arise, for as long as we have the dog. I find this very reassuring. Our son’s 4-year old dog received training at the same time, and he too reports a marked improvement in his dog’s behavior. I would highly recommend Midwest Dog Training to anyone considering a board-and-train program.
