Milligan Valley K9 Academy

Where do I start, I’ve been working with Milligan Valley K9 for almost 10yrs now and I can tell you will the utmost certainty they are the best. I have gone to other trainers and it just wasn’t the same. The people at MVK9 are like family. They want you to succeed and they want your dog to succeed. They invest themselves in that journey and stand by their work. I have now had them train or be apart of training 6 Great Danes over the years. All in different ways. From personal sessions, to phone calls, to a 6 week board and train. Every experience has been the same. Completely positive, educational, personal and focused on training not just the dog but the owners as well. I will forever seek advise and guidance from them with any and all dog related issues.

I am so happy! First, let me say that my dog is a good dog, even before Milligan Valley helped. You don't have to have a dog that is out of control to need help, but I am positive they could help even if that were the case. But there were struggles we couldn't overcome on our own, and I knew I could use some expert help. She is a young dog and has lots of energy. She jumped on people every moment she had, she ate things she shouldn't, she would pull on the leash so much that going on walks became a chore rather than a time for us to enjoy each other and bond. Little things like this that add up to frustrations, but overall, she was a good dog, and I knew she had so much potential to be something great! I am so grateful for the help we received at Milligan Valley. Whitney and Dani were amazing at teaching her manners and teaching me how to be a good leader. It has truly changed the dynamic of our home. My family is grateful for the sense of peace it has brought back to me and our household. I cannot thank you guys enough. Best decision I made since agreeing that a puppy would be a great idea!

10/10 recommend Whitney and her team! we took our 1 year old husky Draco to the 3 week board and train and Whitney and Dani have exceeded all expectations! Many people think huskies are untrainable, and I never thought that I would be able to have him outside without a leash without him running off, but they proved us wrong. This have given both us and him so much more freedom. Could not recommend them and their program enough!

My partner and I took our boy Chance (an energetic, "my way or the highway" type Pitbull) here after he displayed aggression towards our two other dogs. From our very first interaction with Dani on the phone we felt supported and like there was hope for peace in our house. We did the 6 week board and train and we can't recommend Milligan Valley enough! Dani and Whitney answered all our questions, kept us up to date throughout the entire 6 weeks, and continue to work with us over 2 months out from his board and train program ending. Our Chance made a complete 180 transformation with their hard work and knowledge and we now have a dog that lives peacefully with us, our two other dogs, and even our cats!
