Welcome to Mindful Mutts, owned and operated by Aishlyn Skoczylas. Mindful Mutts currently offers group classes and private lessons for dogs of all breeds and ages at Pet Supplies Plus in Macon, GA. We also offer in home lessons, day camps limited board and train programs to all of Middle Georgia. Our goal is to build a stronger relationship between pup and partner and use this trust to aid in reaching your obedience and behavior objectives. We strive to teach a way of communicating with your dog that allows for everyone to obtain their goals while understanding that each household and pet learns differently.

Basic Obedience Class AKA Bachelors The basic obedience class is for dogs aged 6 months and older. Each lesson is 1.5 hours long. The class covers the following: Review of Sit, Down & Stand Wait at the Door Come & Leashing-Up Manners Loose-Leash Walking & Attention Meet & Greet Leave It & Impulse Control Wait for the Food Bowl Stay Settle Give & Take How to enroll in your class: After purchasing the full program, you will be redirected to select the date and time you would like to attend each of the 6 lessons included in this program. This is Lesson 4 in the Basic Obedience Class. If you are just starting out with our Basic Obedience Series, please register for Lesson 1 - 3 prior to registering for Lesson 4. If you have already registered or attended Lesson 1 - 3, then welcome to the fourth lesson! Basic Program (On-Leash) Your dog is registered for the Basic Board and Train Program. The average duration of this program is 2 Weeks, but just like people, dogs learn at different places. Some dogs may require additional time to complete training. Price: $1300 Deposit: $650 - Due 48 hours before Drop-Off Skills: Sit, Down, Stay, Place Loose Leash Walking. This program also builds and works on the following: Manners, Impulse control, Settling and Socialization. The basic obedience program focuses more on building reliability in the home. This appointment serves as a tentative Drop-Off reminder. Your dog is scheduled for boarding and training for the following dates: __/__/__ - __/__/__. If you have not already please complete the following: 1. Decide on a drop-off time that is mutually agreeable. 2. Complete your Boarding Intake Form and Contract/Liability Waiver. 3. If you have not already, send the current vaccination records for your dog(s). 4. Complete your Public Outing/Training Waiver. 5. If you have not already, schedule a meet and greet in the trainer's home. What to bring: 1. Food for the entire stay plus 2 days. 2. Any medications or supplements that require administration. 3. Leash and Collar with ID Tags 4. Please verify if you need to bring your dog's crate or if one will be provided. 5. Any training tools. Optional but Recomended: 1.
