Miracle K9 Training

Finding Bridget and MiracleK9 was the best thing to happen to us as pet parents. We adopted our sweet Riley when she was about 7 months old and while she was the absolute sweetest cuddle bug with our family, she would get scared and reactive to other people and dogs while on walks or out in our yard. It was stopping us from taking her places let alone on daily walks we knew she needed as an energetic puppy! So we dropped her off for board and train and she came back her same sweet self but MUCH more able to control her impulses. We can take her on walks without worry. We are able to have friends over again and they comment what a good girl she is and how different she is from when we first got her. The communication Bridget maintained with us while Riley was there was wonderful. And the pickup lesson was so valuable to train ME how to keep up with everything Riley learned. The follow-up lessons are helpful to clarify and troubleshoot and issues that come up after she came home. David even reached out to me at one point months after our initial board and train to see how things were going and to set up another follow up. It’s an investment we would make over and over for the sanity and calmness it brought our dog and our household. Anytime we go out of town we board Riley there and we know she is happy, loved, and getting a bonus refresh on her manners! I couldn’t recommend MiracleK9 more!

I am so incredibly happy and pleased with the result of the 4-week board and train for my dog, Laia! Laia started out so anxious she could hardly function. Whenever she was left alone, she was peeing in the house, pooping in the house and eating it out of anxiety, and she couldn't be crated because she would either refuse to sit down while trembling so hard that the whole crate shook, or she would bend the frame of the crate and destroy it however she could. She would destroy my stuff, my roommate's stuff, and cat toys randomly. Outside of the house, she was so out of her mind it was impossible to get through to her with commands or any basic training courses. She would pull on the leash, cry so loud and long it would become a scream, and just generally be entirely unmanageable. Essentially, she couldn't be left home alone, but she couldn't go anywhere either. All of this was occurring even while she was on not one, not two, but three anxiety medications, which made absolutely no dent in the behavior. Bridget was Laia's trainer, and she was so attentive to all of my concerns, the primary issues I wanted to tackle first, and helped get a basis of training for using the dog pacer when I brought it up near the end of the training period. Bridget was super attentive with keeping me posted on not only Laia's progress, but also how she seemed to be doing mentally, and with monitoring her weight, which I was concerned about. This helped to ease my nerves so much while Laia was gone. Coming home from MK9, it was like having an entirely different dog! She's still my Laia, but she can now go in the crate and be calm when I go to work or to run errands. She comes on excursions out of the house with me all the time now, and her demeanor and leash behavior is so excellent! She sometimes whines still in public, but a quick "no" and she's right back to business. I love being able to bring her out and about with me, and she is such a great listener and so incredibly well-behaved. We have been working on the off-leash skills and her confidence running on the dog pacer, which MK9 laid the groundwork for, and I'm so excited to see her keep dominating training and coming into her own! It may seem like a lot of money, but it's the best money I've ever spent. I went from dreading going home to whatever mess I'd have to see, smell, and attempt to clean, to being so excited to get home to my girl and go on adventures with her. Can't recommend Miracle K9 enough!

There is no review that can provide a high enough rating for Miracle K9, 5 stars is not enough. We were provided advice from professionals that our dog would need to be put down because of his behavior. We were quickly running out of options. Miracle was, pretty much just that: a miracle. Turns out, it was the best decision we could have made. Our dogs behavior has improved, he is no longer reactive, we see he actually CAN get along with other dogs, and, while we know the training didn't "fix" him, we can see he has a chance at leading a life in which we know he is not as reactive and scared as he was prior to training here. Michelle, David, and the rest of the team at Miracle, are wonderful. They are responsive, caring, and explain everything to you. There was not a moment where we didn't know what was happening, and the entire time, our comforts as owners were prioritized. We have already decided that any future dogs will be trained here for as long as we can bring them. We have told them this many times, but they literally saved my dogs life, And I cannot thank them enough.

I’m incredibly happy with the results after Leo’s Board & Train program. We’re both much more relaxed in public and around other people. I can now take him everywhere with a patio without concern, and he’s consistently being complimented on his manners. It’s absolutely worth the investment! Plus, the option for continuity of training during daycare is huge. Bridget and the other trainers who worked with my little monster are rock stars 10/10 ⭐️ 🙏

I just recently sent my 8 month old chihuahua puppy (Dobby) for the board & train. I absolutely cannot believe the change in just 4 weeks!! He didn't have any aggression issues, but was rescued from a dog hoarding situation, so he had a habit of not leaving other dogs alone & wasn't easy to walk on leash, plus potty training issues. I also have a 13 yr old black lab that was getting stressed because Dobby was constantly jumping on him & in his face...he's a very submissive old man, while Dobby is an alpha. Like most chihuahuas are..lol..small but mighty! But I figured getting him properly trained as a puppy would be better than to try to change behaviors after he's older, so I looked at this as an investment in our future. It was hard not being able to see him for 4 weeks, but I totally understand the reasoning behind it. There were lots of videos uploaded to their socials, so I got to see his progress. And his trainer Bridget was great with communicating through email on how he was doing. I was also unsure of the e-collar, but after learning more about it, how it's used (and even tried it on myself, lol) I feel it's a beneficial training tool for some dogs. Everyone is different! Since he's veen home, I've hardly had to use it. I'm happy to say though, in the few days he's been home, the change is ASTOUNDING!! Dobby isn't bothering our older dog or cats, he's actually listening to our commands...I can take him a walk MUCH easier!! Potty training is still a work in progress, but it's much better than where we were at a month ago. I also have to remember, he's still a puppy! I'll be taking him back 1 day a week for doggy day care, so he can continue socializing & build on what he's already learned. I cannot thank the staff at Miracle K-9 enough, especially Bridget!! Dobby the Elf has become quite the little gentleman, thanks to you guys!! If you have any apprehensions on sending your dog to training, even if its a small dog, don't. You will not be disappointed!!
