Miracle K9 Training

We had been searching for a Tamaskan—a breed I’ve wanted for years. They’re rare in the U.S., and breeders that meet the Tamaskan Registry requirements are limited. After striking out too many times to count, we finally found a 5-month-old available right away. We jumped at the chance, but quickly realized she hadn’t been socialized at all in the months before her adoption. Despite our best efforts, she was constantly overwhelmed by people and other dogs. That’s when we decided to enroll her in the 4-week board-and-train program at Miracle K9—and it has been life-changing. Before training, we couldn’t even walk on the same side of the street as someone walking down the road, let alone another dog. On the very first night home from training, we sat on a crowded patio for dinner while dogs walked past, and she calmly stayed in a down. Since then, we’ve been able to do everything we dreamed of with her—taking her everywhere with us without worry. Bridget was her trainer, and she was a joy to work with. She gave us updates whenever we asked, and the Miracle K9 team shared plenty of adorable posts on social media so we could see Mya’s progress. Since graduation, we’ve had two follow-up sessions that have been just as valuable—helping my wife and me learn the best ways to set Mya up for success. Bridget is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, answering what feels like 500 questions from us. Honestly, I think she may have trained us even more than she trained Mya! Thanks to Miracle K9’s program, we now have the dog she was always meant to be—thriving within healthy boundaries. We can take her into stores, play fetch in downtown Cleveland, and hike completely off-leash knowing she’ll stay right by our side. We will 1000% send every future dog we adopt through their training to maximize their happiness—and ours.

David and all of the team at MK9 were able to address all of the issues we were experiencing with our nervous Doggy...We can take her on walks, she listens when we give commands and we are now able to have guests over without dog trauma. They took great care to do detailed follow ups with us...our success with our Pup was clearly their highest priority and not something they were going to let slide.
