Miracle K9 Training

From the first moment we walked thru the door , to TODAYS visit, I am 150% satisfied!! Quick background: Our 3 year old Rottweiler Maxx, decided to break rank and put me (mommy) below him in the hierarchy. After 3, yes 3 bites, I told my husband we were getting him SERIOUS training or we would have to get rid of him. This dog completely stole our hearts at 4 months when we adopted him. He was always head strong, but the last year, his stubbornness and entitled nature came out full force. Alot of people said he is a bad dog and shouldn't be saved. We love Maxx as a family member and we couldn't live with ourselves if we didn't give him EVERY opportunity to learn to be a good and healthy boy. This is where Miracle K9 comes in. My husband had done some pretty extensive research on board and train programs in the area. We thankfully landed at Miracle K9 with Bridgette, David and the rest of the amazing staff! Maxx went to board and train beginning of February 2025. It was hard being without him for so long, but boy was it worth it. Maxx is NOT a bad dog He is a 140 pound baby that needed guidance and reinforcement. Thank you thank you thank you for teaching our boy manners!! We were sent videos a couple times a week showing his progress. That helped alot with missing him. After the four weeks of board and train, we brought Maxx home. It wasn't all smooth sailing when we got home. Maxx had to get used to his home again and we had to get used to the new Maxx. We went to the training center once a week for 3 weeks after the board and train. We learned sooooo much about Maxx and how to keep him and US safe and protected. After the 3 weeks, life went on as normal, Maxx was doing very well. Then, a small incident. We called his trainer Bridgette and set up a home visit. She came, guided us on next steps and gave us some homework. From the very beginning, Bridgette and the staff have been amazing. A little time went by, ANOTHER incident. Maxx bit mommy again. I was very upset. We paid alot of money, y is he regressing?? We called Bridgette yet again, this time, not sure if we were keeping him or not. Alot of emotion went in our decision to give it ONE more try. Bridgette reached out and set up a home visit with David, the owner. We did alot of talking. My husband and I asked alot of questions. Unfortunately if we decided to give him up, he would have to b euthanized because he had bit someone (me). We couldn't let that happen so we had lessons weekly to get Maxx back on track. They BOTH came to our home 4 weeks in a row. Maxx improved weekly. I had to learn to make sure he knew i was above him in the hierarchy. When this whole process started, I just wanted my "lap dog" to stop misbehaving. Maxx needed discipline. Alot of discipline!! Bridgette, David and the crew worked with our boy and us. I am highly impressed with Bridgette and David and the genuine care they have for animals. This program saved our boy and we are ALL so much happier. Maxx will always be a work in progress. We have been given many tools to keep us all happy and healthy. We also know that we have the support of Miracle K9 whenever we need it. I have so much gratitude for Bridgette and crew!!!! We would recommend Miracle K9 to ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!!! I have never been so impressed with a company and EVERY single employee we came across. Cannot say THANK YOU enough to Bridgette. I took on a dog that my parents adopted from a Florida shelter who they were immediately afraid of and overwhelmed by. If he went back to the shelter he would be euthanized, so I figured “I’m good with dogs, he just needs structure” and off I went to get him. On the road trip home he freaked out in the hotel room and wouldn’t stop biting my hands and arms until I took him back out to the car where we slept. At home he would do the same thing in the back yard when he became excited, which was daily. He ran at me and lept at my face, grabbing my arms and chewing, tugging, gnawing. I couldn’t make him stop, he thought it was fun. He left me bruised to the bone, terrified, and desperate for help. I thought we’d have to put him down, he just kept escalating. I found trainers on the other side of the country that worked with aggressive dogs, and I was prepared to drive anywhere to help this dog. Then, I discovered Miracle K9 on YouTube. Their training made sense to me and they had proof that they were experienced with aggressive behaviors. Bonus, they were just hours away. I scheduled a board and train in the coming weeks and hoped they could help him. Bridget was our/his trainer and she assured us from the start that what I described was fixable. She sent pictures and email updates. We had calls to hear about his progress. He was doing great! He was right on schedule. But, I was concerned because he never demonstrated the aggressive behavior while in their care, would what he was learning be useful if I brought him home and he started biting me again? Fast forward one year and we have a big, slobbery, happy, social, love-bug of a dog who is well mannered and safe. He lives in harmony with his two dog brothers. He listens to his commands. He is friendly with people and animals. He can handle stress and excitement without a dangerous reaction. He no longer bites! He receives compliments anywhere we go on his excellent training and good behavior. We had bumps along the way over the last year but nothing scary or dangerous, and Bridget was always there to help us understand how to overcome the obstacles. The follow up support was phenomenal. I am so incredibly grateful to Bridget and the team at Miracle K9. You didn’t just save his life, you gave him an all access pass to the world. He is perfect, and living his happiest ever after. If you are thinking about whether to have your dog trained by Miracle K9, the answer is YES. They can handle any sized problem. It was the best money I ever spent, I plan to have them train all my future dogs. Your dog will be the envy of the neighborhood and your home will be calm and happy.

I sent my five year old dog, Brownie, for a 4 week board and train for being totally unmanageable. He was growling at neighbors, barking at people walking by, growling at children in the home, lunging at guests, charging the neighbors near the fence pulling me during walks, lunging at birds and squirrels and then attacking me! This agency was referred by a friend. He was trained by Bridget Stocker. I am so very grateful! I have a new dog! The neighbors children asked "What happened to Brownie? He used to bark at us?" We both enjoy walking now. My family feels safe. His behavior has improved 100%. I am so very grateful Lisa J

I could not recommend Miracle K9 enough! I adopted a pit mix 3.5 years ago and he had terrible leash manners, was leash reactive after some bad experiences with off leash dogs, needed to be on an insane combination of sedating medications to go to the vet, had no ability to settle or regulate his emotions and the list goes on. I had such a hard time effectively and clearly communicating with Ziggy. We worked with Michelle and she is truly incredible, the BEST. In the first session she completely transformed his leash manners with clear boundaries my dog and I understood easily and immediately. From there we worked through better manners in the house, settling in (what he perceives to be) stressful situations, socialization, grooming/vet related situations, recall, all of the things! Michelle is judgment free, incredibly supportive and always explains why we’re doing something and why it works. Ziggy is now easy to handle, clearly understands his commands and I’m so excited for him to live his best life with all of his new skills! Truly could not have done it without Michelle and Miracle K9!!!

I would highly recommend Miracle K9 Training. I came to David asking for help with my 4 year old rescue with behavioural issues, the issues being nipping new people, being uncomfortable with people in the home, leash reactivity, and the inability to allow her to meet other dogs. I felt stuck and felt like where I was at in my training was not progressing any further. I also live in Vancouver Canada so traveling to go see him in person was not an option. I signed up for one virtual session, which I was hesitant to do as I didn’t know if online was going to be effective, but I am so happy that I did. After only one online session, my skills with her e-collar have improved therefore am spending way more time allowing her off leash freedom, my leash walking skills while passing other dogs have improved that I haven’t had the big reactive explosions that we were used to, as well as I have been able to get her with some family dogs which makes having summers together much easier (not having to keep her separated or muzzled the entire time). I am very impressed with how supportive and knowledgable David is, and I feel like at any time, I can ask questions or clarify things as things come up. Thank you again!!
