Our family sent our twin doodle boys, Emmet and Winston, to Misfits Dog Training and it’s been the BEST decision we’ve made! The twins are so well behaved when we take them on adventures, absolutely love to “place” on their spots at home, and are overall better dogs! We are so thankful for the help, support, and awesome work Misfits Dog Training did and continue to do for the doodle boys! Couldn’t recommend more!! Zoe and John are absolutely amazing dog trainers. We got doodle puppy brothers in the spring of 2023 and learned quickly our boys would need some behavioral training. We wanted to be able to take the boys out with us on adventures and needed them to be able to mind their manners. We elected for the Board and Train 3 week program with Misfits which was, hands down, the best choice for the boys. We particularly loved the every other day updates on the boys progress that were always accompanied by photos and/or videos of their progress. When the boys returned home, they were like brand new dogs! We've been reaping the benefits of their new manners ever since! It's now been nearly six months since the boys completed the program and we couldn't be happier! We highly recommend Misfits!!!

Having been to a few other board and train facilities, I can say that Zoe & John are people I consider to now be family for our puppy Sasha. She now has a home away from home, and that is so hard to find! Sasha went to Zoe & John at 6mo old, being a little menace, to a civilized woman we can take in public! I’m so grateful to have found Zoe & John, and I’ve already pre-booked two more boarding sessions with them! Also, they are incredibly communicative and send many pictures and videos during training!! I appreciated that so much!

I can't speak highly enough about Misfits Dog Training. Our journey with them began during a challenging time when we unexpectedly lost our beloved 13-year-old Golden Doodle earlier this summer. Zoe and John at Misfits played a monumental role in helping us heal and fill the void in our hearts by introducing us to our German Wirehaired Pointer. From the get-go, Zoe and John invested an extraordinary amount of time, not just in training our dog, but in educating us about the breed and their own experiences with their GWP companions. Meeting them at the park, seeing their own GWP, Apple, and hearing their insights really solidified our trust in them. They went above and beyond, assisting us in finding a reputable breeder and even flew out to bring our new dog from Nebraska, ensuring his health and origins were top-notch. For the initial four months, our dog stayed with Zoe and John, and during this time, they provided regular updates on his progress. We had monthly sleepovers, witnessing firsthand the significant strides our dog was making in his training. Their commitment extended to accompanying us to vet appointments and offering continual guidance tailored to our desire for an adventure partner in our dog. The training was personalized and focused, aimed at creating an off-leash trail running companion. After these four months, our dog returned home incredibly well-behaved, a testament to the dedication and expertise of Misfits. Beyond the training, Zoe and John offered ongoing support, from food recommendations to at-home training advice. Inevitably our dog pushed his limits when he returned home, however John promptly came to our home, and within minutes, provided us with invaluable insights into better handling our dog. The love and care they have for the dogs they train are evident, as our dog lit up every time they visited. Without hesitation, I would wholeheartedly recommend Misfits. They have become an integral part of our lives, and we're certain to rely on them again when the time comes for our next puppy.
