Misfits Dog Training

We absolutely loved working with Misfits to train our dog Xena. We adopted her from Humane Colorado and since she had been returned twice by other families, we knew she likely had a few things that needed to be worked through. We contacted John within a couple of weeks of bringing her home and he was really amazing with both her and us. He took the time to listen to our concerns and created a training plan to address them. He was very flexible with scheduling. After completing John's program, Xena is less anxious, walks way better on a leash and has learned quite a few commands. If you have a pup that needs training, Misfits is your way to go!

I had a hard time feeling comfortable with sending my dog to a training program until a woman recommended Misfits to me. I decided to give them a try, and boy did I get my moneys worth. My dog was horrible with leash washing and now she heels on walks. She has a better sense of what is expected of her and has better dog manners. Dog training is always going to be something you have to stay consistent with after any program, but misfits set my dog up for complete success and I could not feel better about my choice to send her there. I also love that their program is a more homey down to earth feel at their farm, and I know Mia was safe (which is a huge concern of mine bc of wild animals in Colorado). Def recommend them!

Kailey was incredible! One of my dog’s concerns was her fear of strangers and she loved Kailey from day 1. I was SHOCKED! She always answered my questions and took the time to make sure I had the resources I needed. Highly recommend Misfits- having a well trained dog brings so much peace of mind to me and your pup. We enjoy walks so much more, I know how to manage my pup’s reactivity better and it’s so nice to know how to get all of her energy out no matter the circumstances such as weather or time of day. Misfits is one of the greatest investments I’ve ever made!
