Lauren & Wesley started their dog training path in the United States Air Force, where they were both Military Working Dog Trainers. After serving for 10 years they left the Air Force & took the skills they learned to the private security industry where they work with Explosive Detection K9’s to protect the public at Dallas Stars games, Dallas Mavericks games & concerts at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. In recent years, they began to share their love for dog training by using it to help the wonderful citizens of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Do you offer payment plans for the boarding and train program?
Yes. We require 50% payment at time of booking and the remaining balance to be paid when you pick up your pet.

Will I be able to visit my dog during the boarding and train program?
We do not recommend this as it is confusing to the dog. It is essential that we establish a bond with your dog in order to establish a happy learning environment. Visits from the owner can impede and delay this process.

Where will my dog be staying during the board and train program?
While your dog is with us, we will mimic their home lifestyle as close as possible and they will be a part of our family. Down time in a kennel is part of the training process. Once your dog is comfortable with our process, they will be exposed to other dogs. There will be social time and play.

What if my dog forgets all his training and I wasted my money?
Your dog WILL forget if you don't practice. If you do not do maintenance work, your dog's focus will get rusty. Luckily, we provide you with all the exercises you will need to keep your relationship with your dog.

How will I learn to maintain the progress you've made with my dog?
When your dog is trained, our job is only halfway done. We then will train you so you can continue the work and reap the benefits of a great dog-owner partnership.

Yes, absolutely! The gift of communication you are giving them will only enhance your relationship and solidify your bond through clarity. We will educate you on how a dog thinks and teach you to accelerate the bond with your dog.

The best decision we made was sending our new golden retriever puppy, Gwinny, to Mission Critical for 2 weeks. It established a pattern of caring & trust that has made it possible for her to succeed. One year later at a crucial point in her development we again turned to Mission Critical for a refresher. She just passed her Canine Good Citizen at 16 months and this would not have happened without them. The 2 pictures are from when Gwinny returned from Mission Critical each time. We love Mission Critical!

We sent our 6 month old Bullmastiff to Mission Critical for socialization and the basics. The breed can be head strong. She was shy around strangers and aggressive with dogs who were also head strong. Lauren and Wesley gave us all the tools to set Jolene up for success. We let her do the approaching. She goes everywhere with us and we get compliments on her training all the time. Dogs pass us out in public and she doesn’t even take her eyes off of us. Couldn’t have asked for better trainers for our dog or us. We will send every dog we get to them. Thank you Lauren and Wesley!!

Wesley and Lauren did an awesome job with obedience training for our new Pup Bruno. When we picked him up he came home a better dog. We highly recommend them!
