The majority of this review is false, misleading, and entirely slanderous. We absolutely loved Charley and are caught completely off gaurd by this review. Especially as it has been over 5 months since your class. We do not know where this is coming from or why 5 months later you decided to leave this review, but lets go over each issue one at a time. #1 Charley was too distracted for PetSmart classes and you had no success there which is why you reached out to me. I told you the only way to get better is to work through these issues in the setting where you are having troubles. I addressed how to redirect your dog and captivate his attention, in class. I explained that Charley’s goal was coexistence in the group setting. I also explained that it was not about hitting all the “graduating” marks as much as slowly getting him to be less and less overstimulated while other dogs are around. Working on this was also part of your homework with Charley. #2 Play Groups: I made an exception and allowed Charley into play group because of his size. He was too old for the group but because I wanted to help you I made an exception. I also explained that if and when he got overstimulated that we would have to have that be the end of that particular play group as we work on building longer and longer duration of being able to handle the group. Charley WAS asked to leave the group after over 5-6 times of pushing the envelope during the group. Becoming overly pushy and in the other dogs face. Again this was part of the discussed game plan. Helping him learn to tolerate more and more. That I assumed was a pretty clear explanation as we had discussed it at length prior to starting the play groups. As far as you using your cell phone during the group. I absolutely DID tell you to pay more attention to your dog than your phone!! There are signs everywhere stating all ringers are to be turned off prior to coming into the facility. Besides the fact you needed to be paying close attention to your dog as he was the cause of many timeouts. Even if that were not the case, it is still your responsibility to pay close attention to your dog. Again we knew this would happen. I discussed it in length and gave you a gameplan on how to handle it when it did, prior to any play group attendance by Charley. #3 You were NOT charged double. YOU personally PAID TWICE. This had nothing to do with us. You informed us and we PROPTLY sent out a check that very day. You said you never received it and we sent out a second check, which again you say you did not receive. When we got this call from you, we suggested just doing a refund through our website. Which we did and your refund was received VERY SHORTLY thereafter. I will say the two checks that were issued were never cashed. Although I did end up canceling them at a cost of $28 each. I cannot express how disappointed we are in this review as we literally bent over backward, even breaking policies to try and help Charley through his overstimulation. We suggested a number of ways to address these issues as well as ways to continue working on them outside of the school. Our school does more PROBONO work than any other trainer around we always have and always will put our clients needs 1st. We are literally the most giving, dog training facility on Cape if not in Massachusetts. Whether donating free services to those who cannot afford, or free trainings to help shelter dogs get adopted, to helping DCF Children have the best Christmas possible, sponsoring little league teams, or so much other things we are BLESSED to be able to do, we take such pride in helping our community. Our reputation speaks for itself in that regard. We understand dealing with a difficult dog can be a frustrating thing, however we went above and beyond in every manor to help you and your dog Charley. We are glad you have found someone who is helping you and wish Charley the best.

Carrie this is such a lovely statement. Storm truly has turned out to be a lovely dog. Although i will say i do miss you all. Itss been far too long. It would be fantastic if you had time to join us on pack walk some week.
