Lovely clients, lovely dogs until they failed to schedule their fourth session (dates sent to them on 12-27-2020). They responded acknowledging the options yet I heard nothing from them until over a year later on 2-14-2022 when I received an email from the wife wanting to resume training sessions. My training agreement (which I read to clients as they agree and initial) states program sessions expire 3 months from the initial consult date. On 2-15-2022 I offered to resume training at a discounted rate to which the husband replied with a threatening email, called me a thief, and left this 1-star review. During our sessions together, I waived my additional dog fee (they have two dogs), agreed to work with them at their place of business, and agreed to have one session at their home which was a 2 hour round trip drive for me and out of my service area. I provided them with scheduling options in Dec of 2020, the wife replied acknowledging the dates and stated her husband would be in touch to choose the date. I never heard back from them. I never agreed to allow them to use their sessions as needed over any period of time. That absolutely is not beneficial for dog training clients. Even after getting emotionally charged, threatening emails I issued them a refund of their original program fee less the services provided already and travel fee to their home.<br><br>My goal for my business is for my clients to be happy with the services I provide. I cannot force anyone to follow-through with the instructions, to schedule their training sessions, or apparently to adhere to the service policies they agreed to in writing. Following my business policies is not unethical.
