We came to Brittanie with very little expectations but lots of hope for our two bulldogs. Our 9 year old olde English bulldog hasn’t always loved other dogs and for the last 5 years her only buddy was an orange cat. We adopted a special needs English bulldog puppy that was born 100% deaf, so we knew we already had a learning curve let alone getting our ol’ girl to love him. From the initial consultation to the very last session Brittanie has been amazing at guiding us gently and our babies. I was amazed that w/in 2 sessions they were able to do face to face, and by 3rd they were completely off leash and buddies. She taught us how to redirect and change any negative energy before it happened or how to remedy it if they had an off moment. We then enrolled our little guy in her puppy training (stage 1) and despite the hurdles that Brittanie had to work w/ and our boy he has learned hand signals for basic commands/ asks from us to help him have the most rewarding life. He isn’t fearful of new environments despite not being able to hear the world around him thanks to learning his commands. We never thought we would get here, hopeful, but managed expectations and well a picture is worth a thousand words. Thank you for changing our fur babies lives, and helping us enrich our older dogs life by helping us overcome her guarded behavior and for teaching our goofy little guy that hand signals are fun.

I can't say enough about Brittanie and Modern Day Dog Training. My Lucy was a wild, nippy, nervous little border collie beastie until we worked with Brittanie. Brittanie is patient, experienced, talented and insightful. She's a lot of fun, too! I/we benefited so much from the tools and techniques we learned and practiced in our training. We unexpectedly adopted a young, energetic dog and were in over our heads with his puppy-like behavior. Before he got to us he was trained with bark collars and aggressive methods so we were careful to select a positive reinforcement trainer. Brittanie was so amazing. Our dog absolutely loves Brittanie and her treat bag. Our training sessions were always fun and informative. Brittanie was extremely patient with all of us- humans included-and I highly recommend her for any training needs. We have a well-behaved dog now! We have also used Brittanie for drop-in pet sitting since our animals all love her so much! Thank you, Brittanie!!!

We go to Brittanie for both training and drop in visits - the amount our people anxious dog LOVES her speaks volumes on its own. We have struggled to manage Willow's reactivity while also trying to provide a fulfilling environment. Brittanie does a great job helping us with threshold management, reward timing, and body language. She's even helped us by meeting a couple of our foster dogs who struggle with stranger danger to get them a positive experience under them 🥰 We can't wait until it's time for the next round of training with Willow and our new pup!
