Monument City Dog

I am so grateful to have found Monument City Dog to help my dog T-Bone. We self taught all of his basic obedience when he was a puppy, but looking for a private trainer to help with more advanced training like recall and leash manners. Laura immediately made us feel so welcome to her 'pack'. She really listened to what we were looking to accomplish and explained all of her training methods. T-Bone responded very well to his sessions and she set us up for success as well by explaining how we can apply her methods at home. I am happy to say that T-Bone's training has helped him tremendously on walks and bonded our connection even more.

My dog and I have been working with Monument City Dog on and off for over a year now, and I have nothing but good things to say. I could see results in my dog's behavior within a week after my first training session with Laura; which I had not seen after weeks working with other trainers. She has a calm demeanor which made my dog Dylan, and in turn me, feel at ease and comfortable. Laura is always willing to help me understand my dog's behavior and all of the aspects of her training, she answers any questions I have, and makes it easy to stay consistent with training at home. We work with Dylan on an e-collar as well as using other training techniques, like positive reinforcement, to help her overcome her fears and anxieties. With Laura's help, my dog is becoming more confident and less anxious (I have become more confident too!) and my dog and I have a stronger bond because of her training.
