Moon Dog Training offers positive reinforcement dog training in Madison, Wisconsin and Monroe, Wisconsin. We offer private lessons across Wisconsin and via Zoom. We provide group classes and private lessons for puppies, adolescent dogs, and adult dogs. Our professional trainers help with manners, obedience, and confidence building through fun, reward-based methods. Classes include puppy foundations, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) prep, therapy dog training, tricks, and games to strengthen your bond and improve focus around distractions.

Giene and Moon Dog Training are the best! I first met Giene in 2009 after my previous dog was in a car accident with me and developed severe anxiety. We met 1:1 and she helped us to get his head back on straight and understand the world isn't as scary as he thought it was. My current dog, Freddie, and I have taken 2 group classes including Action and Distraction and the Therapy Dog Prep class. We even went to a care facility the last day of class and the residents LOVED the visit. Giene's dog training certifications are impressive but even more important is her ability to train humans to train dogs. I always feel comfortable asking questions. My dog and I just signed up for another round of classes. We will be repeat customers for life!

I have worked with Giene for a couple of years with two different dogs. The trainings have always been fun and easy to continue on at home with the support of the Moon Dog Training staff. With my current dog, he was definitely a daddy‘s boy, but after a couple classes, he has now bonded with me and will listen to me as well as his dad.

She is so knowledgeable in dog behavior and explains why we do the commands and training the way our dogs can understand and learn.. I have a 6 month old mini Poodle and we have learned our basics and are confident in learning more with Moon Dog Training!!!
