Moonwalkers Dog Training

After struggling for nearly a year (with books, videos and online groups) to learn a proper retrieve with the HOLD, I saw the Ad for Moonwalker's Dog Training for their Retriever Fever Online course. I had heard good reviews about Andrea Lamping from a friend so I signed up. To say I am pleased with the instruction, level of feedback and end result would be a sad understatement. Andrea started with a new dog with no previous experience with HOLD and worked us right up through the whole process, including how to work through the problems we might encounter along the way ( and we DID). Her ideas and teaching methods were force-free, positive and fostered a true working partnership between handler and dog. This is the difference between "making" the dog do something and having the dog "wanting" to do what you ask. She then used a more finished dog to show what the end goal was. The online course was a wonderful experience!The first part was live via Zoom and we could ask questions as they arose. We could work at our own pace, in the comfort of our own familiar environment and post progress videos for feedback, or just learn from other people's posts. I would not hesitate to take another class from Andrea, be it in person or online. Sign me up! :-)
