More Than Dog Training

I feel so thankful to have met and worked with Caylen. Honestly, our dog was already pretty darn well-behaved, but she (the dog) did have a few behavorial things that needed some work. She showed incredible improvement after just one session with Caylen. Caylen's methods, demeanor, patience (mostly with the humans, ha ha), kindness, communication, etc. -- all just top notch! We learned so much about how to communicate with our dog so that everyone understood what was expected of them. It was all delightful! Can't recommend her enough. :)

What More Than Dog Training offers is indeed more than the "sit, stay, up, and down" of your dog's behavior. Caylen has given me her time, much patience, and importantly, the tools I need to get my rescue terrier in a better relationship with me. In particular, my pup's reactivity, barking at every movement outside, and random aggression have significantly diminished or disappeared altogether with some simple and basic understanding of how I should be responding, not simply how she responds. Caylen is so skilled as a trainer, and has a wonderful way with dogs. She is business when it is required, and gentle and loving in her rewards. (with both dog AND owner). I am grateful that she made her services known, and so happy now to have a better handle on the right way to teach and love my little companion.

We had recently lost our beloved Lab, Jack after 14 years. We found Cooper, a 4 year old Boxer at the SPCA. Coop is amazing with everyone! He is sweet and loving. Unfortunately, he did have some bad manners, like barking at the neighbors & UPS delivery people, pushing past us to go outside and most importantly, pulling me so hard on walks that I couldn't walk him! I wanted to be able to enjoy my dog. Caylen taught our family how to be good dog owners. Our 10 year old daughter can now walk Coop now with no problem.
