Mostly Mutts University Dog Training

Emily taught us how to handle our newly adopted dog’s unexpected resource guarding. She was very compassionate and gentle with our dog and knew right away what to do. The training was incredibly helpful and made the adoption a success. Our dog is settling in nicely and has become a member of the family. Knowing we have this resource to turn to at Mostly Mutts is really valuable benefit of adopting there. We are also planning on doing the obedience classes included with adopting.

Mostly Mutts University Dog Training has been invaluable to me and my dog, who I adopted from Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue earlier this year. The support I have received from the trainers has been above and beyond, even including a house visit on a Saturday morning. The dog I adopted had never lived in a home before and was struggling with unmanageable front door reactivity and aggression. Working with the trainers at MMU, I learned new skills and expert-level knowledge and, most importantly, how to implement it all in practice. Using what we learned, my dog and I can now safely and confidently manage people coming over to the house. Along the way, without exception, the trainers have been compassionate and supportive while sharing their expertise. Shining through all of it is their love for dogs and their passion for helping people deepen their relationship with them. I am so grateful to have access to this resource in my community!
