Mountain Bound K9

I have a goofy dog Mumble, a mini bernadoodle who is an energetic 80 lbs burst of endless energy. He had knocked me on my back in the park I didn’t know what hit me. My parents who are in their 90’s live with me. Needless to say I need Mumble to listen, obey and stay. I also want to be able to walk him off leash. Raquel worked out a miracle. Mumble is able to walk off leash. He listen and HE OBEYS. I so much enjoy my crazy dude. His energy is still endless but he totally goes to his place, sits, down, drops and sleeps in his crate. He tries to pull the wool over my eyes because he knows I love him. Yet he is disciplined. LOVE HIM.!!!! Thank you Raquel. Forever in your debt. Mumble thanks you too!!!

I used Raquel for a 1 week board/train for my pet Uni and she was amazing. I'm someone who is very paranoid on who I leave my dog with but she made me feel extremely comfortable. She consistently provided updates (including videos and pictures) and did a fantastic job on exactly what I had asked her to work on. I noticed a clear difference right when I picked her up. She was very clear with instructions on how to continue to be consistent with the training and provided video explanations on training techniques that I could refer back to later. She picked up on all of Uni's behaviors that we were trying to work on (even ones that we hadn't told her). Not to mention Uni clearly had a blast and was a bit sad to leave Raquel after her time with her. HIGHLY recommend Raquel for any training or boarding needs!

My husband and I adopted two adult dogs in the past year. Both pups came from long-term shelter situations and brought with them the traumas from that experience. Raquel has helped us so much in supporting and giving these girls what they need. One of our dogs is very reactive and fearful of other dogs and men. With Raquel’s help she is so much better on her leash and we are able to give her walks. Our other pup lacks confidence. Raquel showed us some ways we can work to increase that and also build our bond. It feels so good to know you are giving your dog what they need to live happier, fuller lives. Raquel has become an invaluable resource for us. We have used her services for training and boarding and recommend both without reservation. She also answers texts between sessions, which has been great.

Last year, my fiancé and I adopted a one-year old rescue named Tei who initially was very nervous/fearful around strangers, and struggled with both leash walking and crate-training. Luckily, our introductory session with Mountain Bound K9 was on Tei's first day at home with us, and Raquel made sure to set us and Tei up for success from the very beginning. After only a few training sessions with Raquel, Tei totally came out of his shell and became comfortable spending time with our friends and family. He learned basic commands, and even more importantly, he loves his crate and has made significant progress on leash walking. We are so grateful now that we can truly enjoy our walks with him! We constantly receive compliments from our friends and neighbors about how well-trained Tei is, and we owe much of this to Raquel. In addition to our in-person sessions (which were super convenient because they were at our home in NYC), Raquel has been an invaluable resource for us basically 24/7. She is responsive to our questions of all types and provides us with effective guidance that we trust. Raquel has helped us to build a truly incredible relationship with our dog, and we know that this training and the work we put in will pay off for many years to come. We couldn't recommend Mountain Bound K9 more!
