FirstBarkMy pup and I took basic and intermediate obedience with Mr. Dog training and it was awesome for the both of us! It helped me learn so much about my dog as much as he learned in skills! At Mr. Dog Training I want you and your dog(s) to reach their full potential. One of the most effective ways of doing this is learning how to properly communicate with your canine companion and learning to listen to them. When pets and people aren’t speaking the same language, it can be frustrating. Just like with any good relationship, communication is key! I believe training should be fun, for both you and your dog, and that training with your dog should help create a strong, lasting relationship built on respect and trust. I am bringing home a creme golden retriever on Sept 3. He will be 9 weeks. When shud i start his obedience training at your facility. Is it s once s week class? I dont work so reinforcement can be done between classes. thank you Jane B.

Thank you for contacting me and congrats on the new puppy! I offer a free drop in Puppy Preschool every Saturday morning from 10-10:30am for pups age 8-16 weeks. Puppies must have had their first round of distemper/parvo vaccine and been in your home at least 10 days prior to coming to class. As soon as your puppy meets these requirements then you are welcome to come! When you come to Puppy Preschool you'll want to bring your puppy wearing a leash and a portion of high value food (cheese, boiled chicken, hot dogs, boiled egg, or sliced turkey) to use as rewards.

Sara, The trainer is without a doubt the most patient hard-working woman I have met. She is full of so much information I try to take it all in I highly recommend any of her classes I have taken three.

In just a few weeks, things have improved drastically and now I have the tools to help me and my dog be better partners. We are on the right track!! I see why she was voted #1 in Maine!
