FirstBarkMy son and I had the best experience bringing our dog to the Beginning Manners class. Communication before and during was great, the instructor Missy was really good, and a club member even let us borrow a dog (thanks Cheryl and Chip)when our girl was in season. Highly recommend.

About Murfreesboro Obedience Training Club
Murfreesboro Obedience Training Club is an AKC approved dog obedience training club. We offer dog training classes at all levels from puppy to advanced competition. Our classes promote a canine-human team with the desired result being a dog that is beneficial to society and a better companion to its owner. Because our volunteer instructors are active in their chosen dog activity and sport, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our classes. The club holds both AKC obedience and agility trials throughout the year.

When is this place open?
We have classes Monday through Thursday at 6 to 8. We are a club and we have classes to help people learn to train their dogs.

Our dog Eevee completed the novice obedience training taught by Kris and we had such a positive experience! My boyfriend and I adopted Eevee about a month before starting training and she had a very timid disposition. Kris's training program helped us not only bond with our dog, but also helped her come out of her shell and learn basic commands. Kris is very experienced with obedience training and knows dog behavior. She even incorporates small things like having your dog get used to their feet being touched or standing still for vet visits. I would recommend her classes to anyone, especially if you want to show your dog or participate in canine sports!
I have taken puppy class, CGC class, scentwork class, conformation class, and am presently taking a more advanced obedience class. I have been very happy with MOTC and recommend it!
MOTC is geared to medium to large dogs. I have a miniture schnauzer and found their techniques not helpful for small dogs. I stopped going to the classes.
