Mutts and Masters Manor

We just came back from a 2 week European vacation where we boarded our dog Dakota with Mike of Mutts and Masters. Dakota is a sweet but reactive dog, so boarding him with a traditional dog boarding facility has always been an issue. We were thrilled when we discovered Mutts and Masters. Dakota was accepting of Mike when he first met him prior to being boarded there. Mike is very experienced working with reactive dogs. We had complete peace of mind that Dakota was well taken care of, as well as receiving training while we were away. Mike also sent us video updates of Dakotas training process. Mike offers free pickup and drop off for your pet. When we dropped Dakota back home, he explained the training techniques he used, so we would be able to incorporate them into our daily life with Dakota. We highly recommend Mutts and Masters! :)

I honestly can’t recommend Mike and Sara enough! If I could give more than five stars I would!! Nico is a rescue, and he’s always struggled with anxiety and reactivity. I’ve worked with quite a few trainers over the years, so if I’m being honest, I was a little nervous and even skeptical going into this. Nico is five years old, and I wasn’t sure how much could really change. But what I got back was honestly night and day. His walks are calmer, he’s more confident, and I trust him so much more now. It’s not that he’s suddenly a different dog, but I finally feel like I have the tools and the confidence to help him be successful. He also seems so much happier. It’s a whole new side of Nico I knew was in there❤️ Mike was amazing throughout the whole process. He kept me updated, answered every question I had (and I had a lot 😂), and pickup and drop-off made everything so easy. I never felt like I was left wondering how Nico was doing, and that gave me so much peace of mind. You can tell Mike and Sara genuinely care about the dogs they work with. Nico wasn’t just another dog there—he was cared for, understood, and set up for success. I’m honestly just so grateful I found them. I trust Mike completely with Nico, which is not something I say lightly. This is absolutely going to be Nico’s permanent place for boarding and training, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who’s on the fence.

We’ve boarded our dog, Lady, with Mutts and Masters a few times now and it’s been great! Lady is a reactive dog so we always have issues trying to find a boarding place that will accept her and has the proper facilities and training to accommodate her. Mike (the owner) has tons of experience working with reactive dogs and has never had any issues boarding her. He is also always very accommodating and flexible. They offer a great price and do free drop-off and pick ups even though we are all the way in NYC. Definitely would recommend!!

I had an excellent experience with Mutts and masters Manor, from pick up at my home to the drop off after the training and boarding. The daily updates via phone with videos and texts. Michael Colt was very professional, knowledgeable and genuinely cared for my dogs well being. The training made a noticeable difference in my dogs behavior both inside the home and out in public. He is more calm, more focused and follows commands. Michael took time to explain techniques and gave helpful guidance to continue good habits at home and out in public. I highly recommend them for both training and boarding. I will most definitely be using their services again.
