Mutts&Manners Dog Training

We first met Mutts&Manners in 2021. We had adopted a sweet golden mix named Hudson during the pandemic. The next year we were to go to my sister and brother-in-law for Christmas and my sister offered us to bring Hudson and I panicked. He was a sweet boy, but just crazy and untrained. We started working with Austin early in December and in just 3 weeks he was a well behaved and happy dog and the center of attention by the whole family. Fast forward two years and we adopted a sweet girl we named Callie. We knew nothing of her history but DNA pegged her as half pittie, with Siberian husky and other things. While she was friendly at the shelter, once home she was terrified of everything, most especially me and doorways. She wanted to hide under the bushes at the back of our yard and we had trouble even getting her in the house. I once again reached out in a panic to Mutts&Manners and Austin again started working with us. It was amazing to see how quickly she came out of her shell and learned to be a dog again. She still hates loud noises and is not fond of new people, but I am now her favorite person and comfort and she is large and in charge in her house. We would not have gotten where we are with either of these babies without Mutts&Manners and I would recommend them for any training needs

Training at Mutts & Manners has got to be some of the best money I’ve ever spent. Austin and Kristy have helped me completely transform my relationship with my dog for the better. When Barbell and I first arrived he pulled hard on the leash even with a prong collar on, and would completely blow off commands he knew whenever we were in public. Now, his obedience is so good he is completely off leash trained, has reliable recall, is well mannered everywhere, and even has passed two AKC CGC Certifications.
