MuttSchool: dog training and behavior

The price is worth it! Other training companies do not have the level of education the trainers here have. I could tell based on a simple phone call that the really consider the psychological processes of the dogs and use science and education for their training. I felt so well taken care of before the lesson even happened. I have used other trainers in big cities and for this level of knowledge the price is actually CHEAP. I mean a CPDT-KSA is a RARE accreditation. I was so excited to hear about muttschool and Mary! I booked immediately when I found out how extensively educated the owner was on actual animal behavior science! If I ever move I will be taking the online classes with her for sure! For now the membership is perfect for us.

This dog training school is so clean and open, offering a safe space for dogs to wonder and learn. We take two dogs here and the price is pretty good for the work that is does and the homework given out to practice with the dogs. We have a more aggressive dog and the training has made him more relaxed and comfortable about people; we’re still working on that being the same with animals. The trainers are so kind and informative, you can tell they enjoy this job. You also get to stay and work with them and see what they do.

My puppy cherishes every second at Mutt School (and I do, too!) The team always takes great care of her and recently went above and beyond during a nasty winter storm. I was out of the country on an extended trip and the team took my pup home with them when the local businesses shut down for the severe winter storm. I am profoundly grateful to Kate and her team for loving my pup like their own, and swooping in to save the day. Thank you!
