My Clever Canine

My dog Lucinda has blossomed since she began training and then daycare at My Clever Canine. At the end of 2021, Lucinda began to exhibit dangerous behaviors - reactive and aggressive to dogs and people. She is athletic and strong so these behaviors resulted in several black eyes and a couple of concussions for me. I was brokenhearted- I didn't see how I could keep her. Caz and My Clever Canine to the rescue! After the first few days of training the bad behaviors stopped. We both were back enjoying walks. We both became more chill and happy. Caz is absolutely gifted with canines- she will not give up on a dog. Caz is ALSO a great teacher for pet owners. She doesn't give up on the humans either. Caz provides terrific feedback and tips that will help you to have the best relationship with your pup. Videos of targeted lessons help you with your homework so both you and your dog can practice. There's so many great things to say about Caz and her establishment. We brought in our one year 1 German Shepherd named Loba for training. My partner and I felt comfortable and confident with enrolling Loba for the Clever Canine Development program. Our pup was struggling to focus, follow commands consistently and was constantly pulling and lunging at people during our walks. Within the two weeks that Loba was enrolled in the program we started to see her changes and improvement. We really appreciated the open communication Caz had with us when it came to letting us know how to continue training at home and the obstacles Loba was facing. She would send us videos of their training sessions so we could also work as a team at home. We had one on one sessions with Caz and Loba to further practice the skills she was developing in the program. Caz is very professional and knowledgable on dog training and the needs of different breeds and behaviors. At the end of the two weeks we saw such a huge important with Loba's behavior and we are so glad we found My Clever Canine in the Rogers Park neighborhood. The prices are reasonable and for the services you are getting it's definitely worth it.

We can’t say enough great things about MyCleverCanine and Caz. We had met Caz when she was working at another facility. When we found out that Caz was opening her own pet service business, it was a no-brainer to bring our German Shepherd Dog here. What we like most about Caz is her deep understanding of pet (and human) behavior. She gave us easy strategies on how to build a strong trusting relationship with our dog. Caz really cares about you and your pet as a collective pack. There are lots of daycare services around that let dogs play in groups but MyCleverCanine combines daycare with training at similar prices. We couldn’t be happier with our overall experience.
