If I could give more stars, I would. I love these guys. Jonathan of My Dog Listens, trained our dog, Winnie. I couldn't be happier. Jonathan took great care in training Winnie, sharing progress along the way. He exposed her to multiple different environments while in training and then at the end- Jonathan trained US. LOL. While I am still learning the commands (you can actually teach old dogs (me) new tricks), Winnie is already a different pup. I highly recommend My Dog Listens- give them a try. 🐕‍🦺🐕🐩🐾💜💙💚💛

Our puppy had been through some training classes and picks up on commands quickly, but can be very stubborn at times and thought he could decide when to listen to us. Walking him was becoming dangerous as he pulled, jumped at cars, people, and dogs (in excitement), and tugged on the leash with his mouth. While my husband could handle it, there was no way I could walk Rocket with our 5yr old in tow. Jonathan with My Dog Listens took Rocket in for the 3wk bnt. Rocket came home today, and we were happy to see he hasn't lost that sparkle in his eyes, but is SO much more obedient! Never in my life did I think I'd see him off leash on our driveway. We are just off of a busy road, and nearby some train tracks. His concentration when staying in place with noisy vehicles driving past and people out walking about almost brought tears to my eyes. We will continue to work with Rocket at home and look forward to seeing the team again if and when we need a great place for Rocket to board if we go out of town. If you're searching for a group to have your dog trained, I highly recommend My Dog Listens! Jonathan was amazing with Zeus (Dutch/Malinois), constant communication made it easy to track the progress Zeus was making. In 3 weeks Jonathan was able to transform Zeus, instant obedience to commands has made it extremely easier for my wife and kids to handle him. Highly skilled trainers that truly care for your pet.

This is my first ever public review that I’ve written for any business or service. The MDL team is so good that I had to share my experience! I am two weeks out from a three week board and train for my one year old cockapoo, Piper. I had emergency surgery the week that I brought her home as a puppy which kept us from getting outside for a while for the proper socialization that she needed. The result of that was a very sweet but very insecure dog. Piper would bark and lunge at other dogs and was very sensitive to noises. When we would take walks in our busy neighborhood, I could never relax and was always looking for the next threat and our escape route. Now that she’s back from training with MDL, I am finally able to relax. Piper’s trainer, Sara, taught her how to be more confident and how to work through her fear. We will need to keep building on this but the foundation that she provided us has changed our lives. Piper is much happier and I have a lot less headaches now! It was well worth the investment and we will be back for boarding when vacations come. Thank you Sara and MDL team!
