FirstBarkSara, Rocky's trainer was very patient with Rocky. He is very energetic and she worked very hard to channel his energy so he could become focused while training. Rocky went through a 3 week session and he is a changed pup. I love the results! He is so much calmer. Thank you MDL, we truly appreciate all of your hard work and helping Rocky learn structure.

I can’t sing My Dog Listens praises loud enough. We had quite the journey with my pup, Paco…. At our initial attempt for board and train Sarah recognized and recommended (within 5 days) that Paco’s stress levels and anxiety were so severe that a halt in training and medication was necessary. She verbally walked me through that it was nothing to worry about it was just how his brain was wired. We would try again a few months later when he was on the proper dosage per his vets diagnosis. Fast forward several months and we are set up for round two. When I first dropped him off, he was scared of his own shadow (very literally). Anything and everything outside the home terrified him and it was gut wrenching to witness. I won’t bore you with all the details but Sarah went above and beyond to get Paco where he needs to be. Today I was handed back a different dog than I dropped off. Not in his quirky/hysterical personality but in his self confidence and trust in me as his handler. She taught me all the proper commands and how to read his body language (and mine) for success in the future. I really feel as though his perfect little doggo life is truly beginning now thanks to MDL. If you are considering BnT with this company I highly recommend you book them stat. You will NOT be disappointed.

My Dog Listens is fantastic! We have a 9 month old Boxer puppy and did a 3 week board and train with Trainer Jonathan. He updated us regularly with progress and pictures and took wonderful care of our puppy. She is a stubborn and nervous dog, but after training with Jonathan we can easily take walks, go to places with other people and dogs, and give her more freedom in our yard. Both our puppy and my family are enjoying life more. Highly recommend My Dog Listens and Trainer Jonathan!

I took my stubborn German Shepherd here for their 3 week board and train program and I can’t believe how well she behaves now! I had a huge problem with her pulling on her lead and chasing after cars. She was very leash reactive and would focus on all the distractions around her instead of me. Now walking her is so easy. When cars dive by she doesn’t even mind. I can take her to the pet store now! My trainer Jonathan was great at keeping me updated along the way. I can’t recommend them enough!
The trainer kept me abreast of progress along the way. At the final hand-off in Lowes while the trainer was walking with Chip and I heard two men say, “that must be a policeman, that dog is so well trained”.
