My Dog's Got Class

My dog Louis has been going here for the last two years since he was a little pup. We took the Basic class and then we took the Basic II class. He graduated with honors both times and is now pursuing a masters degree in Advanced Nosework. Louis enjoys going to day-training during the week to keep on top of his studies and stay up to date with the latest technological developments in the field. He also enjoys spending time with his many great friends and the bonds that he has forged here will last a lifetime.

We just finished Basic 1 with our pup and saw so much progress in just 6 weeks that we signed up for Basic 2 as well. Classes are fun for us and our pup, and the skills we've learned so far have really helped lead to positive behavior change. Polina does a really great job of explaining why you're teaching a skill in a specific way and how it applies in real-life scenarios. It's clear we're not just teaching our dog tricks, but are instead teaching a basic but critical skill set that we will continue to build on for his entire life. We really appreciate how thorough and consistent her advice and feedback has been. Can't wait to start Basic 2 and will keep recommending you to everyone who asks!

I cannot say enough good things about My Dog’s Got Class! I rescued my dog Louie when he was about 5 months old… he was found on the streets of North Carolina and clearly has some trauma (leash reactive, scared of strange people, etc). We got him started right away at My Dog’s Got Class and Polina specifically has been a lifesaver and has worked so hard with Louie to make him into the amazing dog that he is today (he’s almost 2!). Being a Cattle dog/husky mix he’s naturally a stubborn boy and seems to need to have a job to do but since we’ve been bringing him to training we’ve learned exercising his mind is almost more important that physical exercise. Between Day training, day of play, basic class, and workshops, Louie and I have both learned so much from My Dog’s Got Class. Polina is always in depth with her training techniques and makes them easy to understand and easy to practice at home. Thank you to everyone at My Dog’s Got Class for treating Louie like their own and taking the time to work with him and not just counting him out as a difficult dog! If you’re thinking about signing your pup up… Do it!!! You won’t regret it :)
