My EPIC Dog - Human and Dog Training

Judith helped my fiancé and I so much with our dog Sheba. She taught us about positive reinforcement and how to help Sheba grow from where she was. We would just feel like we were playing with Sheba, but every game has a specific purpose! Every time we got to work with Judith, Sheba was so happy and responsive. Our dog has come a long way and we have grown a lot in our dog parenting ways! We continue to use the tools we’ve learned and are grateful to have been able to work with My Epic Dog Training!

I adopted a dog in August of 2019 who was a little under two years old, stray, and very much an alpha, named Bella. She was always aggressive with other people and other dogs - I assumed she was protecting me - but she got continuously worse until she eventually bit my neighbor. This is when I realized I needed professional help. Judith is AMAZING with dogs. Her experience showed the moment she met Bella. In the 8 lessons I had with Judith, Bella transformed. I couldn't put her within eyesight of another dog without her barking, and if someone came within 10 feet of my she would pull and growl. Now, Bella has the self control and tools to keep improving, and no longer barks, pulls, or tries to bite. Her behavior has improved infinitely - she listens, is polite and patient, and far more attentive. She can focus on me as opposed to becoming distracted immediately. I cannot express enough how much I recommend Judith's work. There are things a YouTube video or PetSmart training simply cannot provide, but Judith does. Bella snapped to attention when Judith called on her, but loved her at the same time. This sort of relationship is what a great dog needs, and I don't think there is a dog alive that Judith cannot bring to that point.

Our new rescue Lucy had some trouble with reactivity to other dogs and some separation anxiety. We have seen so much improvement after working with Judith! She helped us to build a stronger bond with Lucy so she listens to us better in general. She is also now a rockstar at being home alone and is doing a lot better with the reactivity! Judith clearly cares the most about what’s best for the dog and its humans, and Lucy has so much fun with her! She takes the time to explain everything, makes sure we’re doing the exercises correctly, and gives homework to practice between sessions. She was also so easy to get ahold of if we had questions outside of our sessions. I’m so pleased with Lucy’s progress and am glad we went with Judith!

My Golden, Sophie, is five years old. Some may think that is too old to train. She is sweet, sits/stays..when she chooses, and thinks that everyone she meets loves her. I needed help with Sophie to learn Self Discipline when visitors come. After 3 lessons with Judith she has improved 100%. I have had friends say they can't believe the difference. I have learned so much from Judith which will lead to a better relationship with my dog. She is teaching both of us to be consistent in our behavior. I can not recommend Judith strong enough. I am so happy with the results and can't wait for more lessons.
