My Shadow Dog Training

I met Jenny Cole two years ago when looking for therapy dogs to come to campus. I work in a college counseling center. At the end of April this year I adopted a dog. The first person I thought of to call for dog training was Jenny. She has such a good reputation. I just finished 6 weeks of Manners I Beginners class with my dog Precious. Jenny teaches the most important things to know about handling your dog in a low key way. At times I can feel overwhelmed when learning new things, Jenny made it relaxed and fun, yet serious. We got handouts each week and were encouraged to do homework to build and reinforce skills we learned. I even taught my two cats a few things. I highly recommend Jenny and I plan to continue taking classes with her and get my dog certified as a therapy dog.

Jenny is phenomenal at what she does. She takes her time to really learn everything about your dog and their history to be able to best address the issues at hand. My 4 year old German shepherd never really could learn all the tricks my beagle could and I thought she just didn’t like training and couldn’t understand when really she learns in a different way and after a private lesson blew my mind with how quickly she picked up when taught in a different way. It wasn’t until aggression issues got out of hand that I seeked out the help of a trainer. I will be returning for many more lessons so she can reach her full potential and live a better life! Thank you so much Jenny, I have so much more hope for helping my Eevee now!

We took the 6-week manners 1 class with our 3 month old Min Pin Rue and we are so very happy that we did! Jenny is a very knowledgeable trainer who helped us lay a great foundation for our puppy and ourselves to have a wonderful future together. She always answered our questions and gave us solutions to any issues we were having. We can’t wait to take manners 2 with Jenny in the future and recommend her to anyone who is looking for a trainer in the area!
