Nahla Stay Dog Training

Katie is amazing with our dog Zelda and we would highly recommend using Nahla Stay for training! We sought out dog training while expecting our first baby so that we could help Zelda with the transition and improve her behaviors prior to the baby arriving. Zelda responded well to Katie from their first interaction and has learned so much from her. Katie has helped promote gentle and calm behavior in our very energetic puppy, improved her walking etiquette, reinforced place training and taught us proper/safe use of the e-collar. Katie is always kind and responsive to questions and is very professional to work with. If you are looking for a great dog trainer, look no further!

When we brought our adorable puppy Scotch home in February it became apparent pretty quickly that if we didn't get him some training we were going to spoil him way too much. Katie at Nahla stay came to us at the house at first and then we expanded to community locations to make sure we were learning how to teach him boundaries and rules safely for us all. He is still pretty spoiled but he is definitely a better behaved dog because of Katie and her guidance. She even followed up in between our classes to give us other helpful tips. Highly recommend. Katie was amazing to work with! She was so patient and effective with our very hyper puppy, and we saw a huge difference with her guidance. She was also extremely communicative; she took videos during training sessions and sent them to us so we could follow along and stay consistent at home, which made a big difference. She came to our home and followed up with us twice, answering all of our questions and making sure we felt confident moving forward. She was not only knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and easy to work with. We’re so grateful for her help and would absolutely recommend her!

Katie was great to work with. She helped us with our golden retriever, especially with his leash work. She had a lot of helpful ideas and practical suggestions that made things easier for us to work on at home. She was also very nice and respectful, and easy to talk to throughout the process. We saw good progress with Buddy and had a really positive experience overall. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer.

Katie was so knowledgeable on how to help me train my dog in wearing a muzzle so he could go to the Vet with less anxiety and safely be examined. She taught me how to train him step by step to slowly progress him to tolerate wearing the muzzle. She even made a video for me to watch which was very helpful. My dog started out fearful of the vets muzzle and with Katie's training, he progressed to wearing his own muzzle around the house, on a walk, on a car ride to the park, around the park and the greatest accomplishment, to the Vet with 100% success!! I was so thankful for Katie's ideas and recommendations and would highly recommend her to anyone needing to train their dog!!!
