I had a disappointing experience. I normally write good reviews. I went to them based on friends recommendations. I paid for a private lesson for basic obedience for a puppy I had rescued. The instructor gave almost too much information, rushing through it, making it hard to focus on specific skills. She didn’t ask me any questions about what I wanted. She also said “ you’ve never had a dog before” - ( not true - assuming) also making statements about the dog like she was an expert when we had only been there a few minutes. This specific trainer seemed to be lacking in listening skills and seemed almost annoyed. By the end of the lesson I felt I’d learned very little and wasted my money. I would use them again but not for private lesson.

Took my puppy Rottweiler to the puppy kindergarten and the continued class. Overall the first class was pretty good and contained a lot of tricks and learning methods I was able to apply to my dog well. The second class is where things went downhill. A lot of the times the trainer (older woman) would be repeating and teaching the same basic commands such as stay or recall. Barely any new information was learned from this continued class and I almost started to feel like she would just drag the class on to make it past the hour of training. Overall would not recommend. The trainer would even tell stories of times where she couldn’t even control or soothe her own dog.
