Nate Dog Training

I called Nate Dog Training because I have an 18 month old German Shepard mix and a 5ish year old Bulldog mix. I was unable to walk my Shepard once he turned twelve months old. Cars became an obsession to try to chase and since he is a large breed dog, I needed control and I didn't have it nor was I comfortable that I could gain control on my own. Not only was walking the dogs an issue but also when friends would come to my home, madness would break out! Obviously, I needed help and structure. Nate helped with everything! He not only trained Dakota and Grace but also me, since humans are part of the equation and the problem. We now walk every morning and continue to do our homework so we can all get better. Nate provided the tools and it's my job to use them effectively. I don't know what I would have done without the steady hand and guidance of Nate Dog Training, along with Nate's patience and encouragement. The training sessions have bettered Dakota and Gracie's lives and provided the confidence I need to be a much better dog mom. Thank you Nate!

After reviewing many trainers, we decided to contact Nate to help our extremely reactive 4 year old adopted German Shepherd due to Nate's stellar reviews and the values that he stands by. Prior to meeting Nate, our dog was reactive towards dogs, people, cars, and even her shadow at one point. Walking her felt impossible, but Nate helped us gain a better understanding of dog psychology and behavior as well as the training techniques and tools that we could use to help our dog. After months of training, our dog's reactivity has improved a lot. While it is definitely still a work in progress, we have been able to manage her reactivity much better in public and understand what she needs from us. Another really unique thing about Nate is his extremely obedient, loyal, and cute pack of dogs that he trained himself. It's not everyday that you get to see a pack of dogs that will just stay there in the middle of the road until called. That goes to show how experienced and dedicated Nate is. He leads by example! Overall, we really admire Nate for his patience, dedication, and expertise in training our dog and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an amazing dog trainer.
