Nate Dog Training

We cannot recommend Nate Dog Training enough! We started working with Nate with our Goldendoodle puppy, Woofster, right after he finished his vaccinations — and it has been an absolute game-changer. Nate has been a true godsend. He's taught us so much about leash walking, puppy behavior, and how to get the very best out of Woofster. The group sessions have been a highlight — a wonderful, safe environment for socialization that we've both looked forward to every week. One of our favorite things is that Nate brings his own working dogs to sessions, which adds such a unique and enriching dimension to the training experience. It's clear he is deeply passionate about what he does. Since Woofster is still a puppy, we're already planning to bring Nate back as he grows and reaches new stages. We feel so fortunate to have found someone this knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in our dog's success. We have a <2 year old Goldendoodle rescue named Mulligan that we adopted 7 months ago. While sweet, he was super reactive to other dogs. This made walks in our neighborhood truly challenging with the crying, barking and jumping. We stumbled across Nate when he saw him on TV. He had all of his dogs in tow, which were all sweet and behaved. We decided to purchase Nate’s book first and focused on the fundamentals that he stresses with in-person training. That was a great foundation. But ultimately, we knew we wanted to have training with Nate. From start to finish it was truly a positive game changer. He first came to our house for the initial 2 sessions. He brings his dogs as well! From there, you still do 1:1 training but out in the real world along with in a group setting with our dog families. I would highly recommend Nate. Our dog has transformed. He can be around other dogs without getting overly excited. We cannot recommend Nate enough! We brought him in because our 7 year old dog was showing overly excited behavior around our newborn, to the point where we had to keep them completely separated. It was stressful and unsustainable. Since working with Nate, the transformation has been night and day. Our dog is much calmer around the baby, and we can now go on walks together as a family. That peace of mind means everything. We also have a 2 year old puppy who had some minor but frustrating habits — jumping up and excessive barking to demand attention. Those behaviors have improved significantly as well. Both dogs now listen to us so much better, and we finally feel like we have control of our household again. We’ve had zero issues since implementing Nate’s training. Truly life-changing for our family! Don’t know where we’d be without him!

We adopted a two year old pit bull mix. She was very dog and people reactive and pulled the entire time we walked her. I was afraid to take her out. She followed us everywhere and barked when in our yard. Nate gave us training tools we were able to use immediately and began to see results. I love walking her and feel confident taking her to parks now. We learned how to get her to relax and not follow us around. She is no longer a menace in our yard and behaves beautifully with guests in our home. We could not have brought her this far without Nate’s help. He is an amazing trainer and I highly recommend him.
