Jim (and his whole family and staff) are great! We are very pleased with our 3yo lab’s training. We adopted our dog at 3yo and it was easy to see he had very little basic command training and absolutely no leash training. Jim was very responsive when I initially reached out and all throughout the four weeks. We were able to get our dog in a few days after calling. Our dog is now walking wonderfully on a leash in our neighborhood, following commands, and such a more enjoyable dog.

Jim and Geena are experienced, talented and no-nonsense trainers. They’re honest, communicate clearly, and not only have clear expectations for the dogs, but for the owners- regardless of experience level. Its fail proof under that model. Although they’re heavily GSD-focused, their approach is easily transformative from workingK9 to house pets of all sizes, ages and needs. Their business is nationally known and accredited, but most importantly family-run, local business. Their facility is very clean, organized, and their farm is as multi-faceted with training sessions as diverse as the opportunities. The equipment and food used are all of the upmost quality- the best there is to offer! The rates might be consistent with NC metro trainers the market, but no one else is as brand specific and selective in their partnerships. Nothing less than perfect will do, and absolutely no corners are cut for the clients nor the dogs. They are transparent, give honest feedback, and have top-notch (and swift!) communication exchanges from second you make your initial inquiry. - Let alone access and support for the lifetime of the dog who has completed their program(s). You just have to do the work! We are so pleased with the results of our reactive, high-drive GSD rescue pup. They’ve given her the foundation and the confidence she needed and the experience we could have only dreamed of. *It should be said that we’ve worked just as hard on OUR training to guarantee we, as owners/handlers, give her the consistent work she desires and deserves to be a happy, healthy, and well behaved lady. We had an amazing experience with Jim and cannot recommend him enough. Our Cane Corso, Kole, was very nervous and showing reactivity toward both people and other animals. After spending time with Jim and completing the board-and-train behavior modification program, the improvement has been incredible. Kole is doing so much better in our home and is much more confident when going to public places. Jim was upfront and honest about expectations and possible outcomes from the very beginning, explaining what could happen along the way. The end result has been far better than we ever anticipated. Jim has also continued to follow up with us since Kole completed the program, which we truly appreciate. We are extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend Jim to anyone dealing with a reactive dog.
