Jim and his team are absolutely amazing, I can actually walk my Maggie now without it being a battle of wills!!! Her overall behavior has improved vastly. I will never regret sending her to “sleep away school” as it has made a huge difference in her reactivity to noises, people & others things that bothered her. He has helped build her confidence & boldness while still allowing for her natural curiosity. He is always available to answer questions & offer suggestions and guidance along the way. I would happily recommend NCK9 LLC in a heartbeat to anyone for their training needs!!!

I sent my Whippet, Daisy, to NC K9 as a 12 week-old puppy for thirty days of training. Daisy has always a great dog with a very spirited personality. However, her spirit and personal drive made it difficult for me to give her adequate training at home. I am extremely pleased with the work Jim completed my pup. She still remains playful but has all needed commands learned, socializes well with other people and pets, and is a pleasure to walk and take to dog parks. Because of her age, Daisy spent many hours of each day in Jim's home and around Jim's family. Because of the extra family time, Daisy is fully acclimated life inside a home. Did Jim's Patrol K9 course. I may have not acted like it sometimes while down there, but I loved the high expectations and great training from him Im a better handler for it. He's has a huge wealth of knowledge and a great passion for dog training! I've also attended a couple of his trouble shooting courses, he did a great job of listening to the issue and working a few angles to make sure its resolved.

Amazing training given to my dog by Jim & his team!! I felt comfortable, immediately, leaving him in Jim’s hands! Their team went above and beyond, by offering anything I may need to feel confident bringing my pup home. Jim is very educated, communicative, and excellent with the dogs (as well as their owners.) I was provided clear information to continue training in my home. My pup is impeccably trained and and happy, thanks to Jim & his team!! Highly recommend.

I contacted Jim and his team after adopting my dog Rico, a rescue who had a minor bite history, which then turned into an actual bite. He seemed to be dog reactive and people reactive. Over the 6 week board and train where Cody was the primary trainer, I received multiple updates and pictures of him throughout that time. Because we also thought my house may be the issue they came down here and did some work at the 4 week mark which I really appreciated. Now that Rico is home he is crate trained which has been amazing, knows so many commands. He also has not been. reactive to people while walking or other dogs. We had a friend over in my house who he met and did well with. We're continuing to work on things every day and are so grateful for Cody and Jim and the K9 team!
