Nebraska Dog Trainers

I had taken River our Labrador puppy to a different trainer and was not having any success. A neighbor recommended Michele at Nebraska Dog Trainers and I am so happy with the results. River was leash reactive and trying to take her on walks or to the park was not fun for either of us. With Michele's guidance she is doing great. Both River and I learned so much. I highly recommend Michele and Nebraska Dog Trainers it is well worth the investment.

I would highly recommended Nebraska Dog Trainers for any dog training needs. We had been through a lot of training with our dog with other organizations, but never felt like we were able to achieve the consistency we were looking for in our dog, especially with distractions. Five weeks with Michelle took our dog to that level of consistency we wanted. In fact, we accomplished more in five weeks of training then we did in over a year of taking classes elsewhere. I also highly recommend training with the e-collar. We love taking our dog for off leash hikes, but had some issues with chasing deer and worried we would lose him. The e-collar has been an invaluable tool to teaching a reliable recall and having peace of mind he will come back. Simply put, Nebraska Dog Trainers has been awesome to work with!

Our 1.5 year old cockapoo is such a special family member. We love him so much! However, his energy combined with his impulse control made it difficult to manage some of his unwanted behaviors. He would jump up on people who come to the house, counter surf, demand paw for attention, and pull on his leash like crazy, making it extremely difficult to walk him. Nebraska Dog Trainers came highly recommended by friends who had used them. After seeing their results we knew it was what we needed for our furry family member. Liz was AWESOME! Our fear was that the training would change the fun-loving, goofy personality of our dog. Liz described it as “adding skills” to him instead of taking away who he is. After the first day home, I feel like I am going to be able to do MORE with him, take him more places and have more people over. He is still the same, fun-loving dog, but now has the skills to participate in more social settings. This is a gift we gave to our dog and our whole family. 🐾❤️🐾

Michelle with Nebraska Dog Trainers trained both of my dogs and I was very pleased with the outcome. My poodle is 3 1/2 yrs old and the training has been great for her. She walks really well with leash and for the most part stays in the yard without a leash and collar but we still need some work on that, especially with distractions. And Charlotte went through board and train and did very well at 6 months old. I have another labradoodle that will be going through training and I can’t wait. Michelle is great. I recommend Nebraska Trainers as first choice.

We were looking for a great trainer to help with our German Shepherd and were referred to Nebraska Dog Trainers. Michelle was truly wonderful and did an incredible job on their Board and Train for our dog. She gave us excellent instructions and showed us how she trained our dog and had us demonstrate back to be sure we know how to connect and communicate in the way she learned. Not hard at all but it was good to know they were setting us up for success. We highly recommend them!!
