New Beginnings Dog Training, LLC

Kristi, at New Beginnings Dog Training, LLC, truly provided us with a new beginning. Our 15-month-old beagle was literally holding us hostage with his bad behavior. He was growling, biting, and counter/table surfing to the point where we couldn’t eat our meals or leave him unsupervised without putting him in a play pen or crating him. He was also having what seemed like bad dreams and waking up suddenly biting anyone that was within proximity. First, Kristi listened to our concerns on the phone and offered an immediate suggestion to help us, providing instructions supported with video, that we could implement until we could see her for our first appointment. Kristi then offered us a comprehensive training plan with balanced techniques to reward and correct our dog’s behavior. After just one appointment we saw significant improvement. After only three sessions, two weeks apart, and consistent effort on our part to practice what she taught us, we can say for the first time in over a year we honestly feel happy to be dog owners and enjoy having our pup with us. His anxiety has lessened, and he no longer has sleep issues or bites. Our relationship with him is improving every day as he adapts to the new rules and routine. We still have some work to do but it is clear to all of us who are in charge now and we are all happier for the new beginning!
