New England K9 Athlete

This facility is great, they offer a lot of very dog sport related seminars, training classes, and dog activities! I’ve taken my dogs there for sport puppy class, happy ratter try-it’s, pop up gallery photo studios, client appreciation events and most importantly swimming lessons! My dog Kuma loved swimming but needed some confidence built up for a dock and pool. We worked with April to build that, moving as his pace! She was really good at keeping it fun but also just asking a little bit more from him! She can read dogs really well, and aside from her knowledge and experience I think that’s her greatest strength. Unrelated to her facility, but she saw me at a disc competition and in about 15 seconds clocked one of the biggest issues, before I even realized it. In addition to the facility her online fitness classes offer so much content and exercises I was blown away by the value.

I first found out about New England K9 Athlete when I entered a Happy Ratters competition with my Australian Shepherds. Since then we have made several trips for Happy Ratters competitions, seminars and lessons with April. It is a wonderful facility with a very welcoming staff who truly have the dog’s best interest in mind. My youngest Aussie has had private lessons with April for some behavioral issues and April’s knowledge, patience and understanding has meant so much. The only down side is that we live 3 hours away. Otherwise I’d be there every single week for lessons and classes.
