Before starting our training, my cattle dog, Coral was a handful on walks. She would constantly pull on the leash and lunge at every squirrel or other dog we saw, making our daily walks a source of stress. We decided to work with Adam to tackle these issues, and the results have been incredible. The trainer was extremely patient and clearly understood the unique challenges of training a cattle dog- Red Heeler. They taught me how to use clear, consistent, and positive reinforcement to get my dog's attention, even in high-distraction environments. Now, our walks are so much more enjoyable. Coral walks calmly on a loose leash and focuses on me instead of distractions. Best of all, with continued practice, we've built a strong and reliable off-leash recall. She comes when called, even when we're at the park or on a trail. This training has not only transformed my dog's behavior but also our relationship. I feel more confident and connected to her, and she is a much happier, more balanced dog. I received my Border Collie in February of 2020, just at the onset of COVID. This situation did not afford me much opportunity to socialize with my new puppy. As a result she was timid, shy, and ill-adjusted to others besides myself. Adam worked with her and introduced her to other dogs, and people (family).
