We had such a great experience with Next Step Canine and Isaiah. Our Cane Corso, Smoke, completed the five-week program, and the difference has been huge. I’ll be honest—I’ve always been a little nervous around dogs after being attacked when I was younger, so having a large, strong breed was intimidating for me. Before training, I was especially worried about being able to physically control him as he continues to grow. Since bringing Smoke home, he’s been so much easier to handle. He’s still a puppy, but the structure and training have made a big difference. I’m able to take him on our nightly 2.5 mile walks without being pulled, and I finally feel confident handling him on my own. This program didn’t just train our dog—it helped me build trust and confidence too. We’re really grateful we made the decision to invest in this training and would absolutely recommend Isaiah to anyone, especially with larger breeds.

I cannot say enough incredible things about this dog training experience. I sent my 8-month-old Cane Corso in for a 5-week board and train, and the transformation has honestly been amazing. Before training, my dog was strong-willed, easily distracted, and still very much in that stubborn puppy phase. Now, I have a still energetic puppy but she is more focused, and an obedient companion that I truly enjoy taking anywhere. Isaiah made me feel like my dog and the goals I had for her were important. I was able to ask any questions I had at any point while she was gone. The trainer was extremely knowledgeable and clearly understands the breed, which made a huge difference. Cane Corsos are not easy dogs—they require structure, consistency, and confident handling—and that’s exactly what was provided. Throughout the entire process, I felt informed and confident that my dog was in great hands. I received regular updates, videos, and explanations of what was being worked on, which made me feel included every step of the way. The go-home session was also incredibly helpful. The trainer took the time to teach me how to properly handle and continue reinforcing everything my dog learned, which made the transition smooth and set us up for success. This training is not a quick fix that will last forever if it’s not followed at home. He gave me the knowledge to keep up with her training to make sure she stays on track. If you’re on the fence about doing a board and train, especially with a powerful breed like a Cane Corso, this is 100% worth it. This experience didn’t just train my dog—it gave me peace of mind and a better relationship with her. I’m beyond grateful and would recommend Isaiah to anyone without hesitation.

Next Step K9 was a game-changer for our relationship with our dog. After years of working with other trainers, we still struggled with our dog’s reactivity and obedience in crowded settings. We could not be happier with the progress Remi made in the 4 week board and train program! We rescued her from a bad situation at 4.5mo but that naturally came with a lottttt of issues. She’s a 60lb puppy that had zero obedience and a TON of energy. She jumped on EVERYONE and lacked leash and house manners. She is the absolute sweetest girl without a mean bone in her body but she was too much for us to handle. We were embarrassed when people would come to visit and were nervous to have her around kids or older people. It’s so nice to see that she’s still got her silly goofy personality, but now she’s soooo much easier to control. She’s still learning and maturing but she has absolutely been given the foundation to continue to grow into a really, really good dog 😊 I truly think this was the best thing we could have invested in for the wellbeing of Remi and our family!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Next Step K9 Training is truly next level! We just picked up our German Shepherd female ,Shadow after her 4-week board-and-train with Isaiah, and wow… she feels like a completely new dog. Her commands, her basic obedience, her overall calmness — everything has improved in such a noticeable way. The transformation is honestly incredible. We trusted them with our girl, and they delivered far beyond our expectations. On top of that, they also helped us with private sessions for our other dog Mia (our energetic Husky!), and the results blew us away. Anyone who owns a Husky knows how stubborn they can be, but Mia now listens, obeys, and responds so much better than before.
