Night and Day K9 Training

It's been a little over a year since we hired Night and Day K9 Training for some help with our Doberman named Lucy. At the time, my wife and I were both 53 years old, both working from home, and we decided to buy a Doberman Puppy to replace our min-pin who had passed away a few months before. We also had a 12 year old super mutt named Scotty. We were a little overwhelmed and needed some help. We met with Meranda who evaluated our situation and we decided to hire her for some in-home interactive training. We soon discovered it was my wife and I that needed training, not the dog. Meranda, as an Animal Behavior Specialist, immediately identified where we were going wrong and started training us. Little things go a long way, like requiring your dog to sit and wait before she is allowed to go outside. Establishing boundaries. Holding our dog and ourselves accountable for our actions. Giving praise consistently. Holding our ground when we make a decision. etc... We also learned how to properly use the E-collar. I was very hesitant to use the device but it made all the difference in the world. A year later and we rarely use the device at all anymore - she's trained! I wanted to wait a year before I left my review so I could see the forest through the tress so to speak. Bottom line: I would highly recommend Night and Day K9 Training to anyone struggling with behavior issues. They are great people and they are good at what they do. You will be satisfied with the results - I guarantee it!

My husband and I are quite impressed with our experience with Night and Day K9 Training for our large-breed rescue dogs, Della and Geordey! We needed our pups to be more obedient to our commands and show better manners with us and visitors. Skylar is skilled at getting to know each dog's unique personality and then using that knowledge to work to motivate them to do their best. Della and Geordey are now calmer and more attentive. We appreciate how healthy and happy they are during their boarding/training time. Kudos to the team for keeping a very clean facility. We highly recommend Night and Day K9 Training!!

I usually don't write reviews, but I just had to share this amazing experience. I recently adopted a Blue Heeler puppy, and this little rascal turned my house upside down. So, I started looking for onsite training facilities to help out. I wasn't happy with the last place I used, as I felt they rushed the training and made my current dog anxious. But then I found Night and Day K9 Training and met Meranda (woman owned!), and I knew right away that this was the perfect place for my dog. Meranda is incredibly knowledgeable and has an amazing team as well. She kept my dog for almost 4 weeks, and when I visited at the 2-week mark, I was stunned by the progress. He seemed much more relaxed and was enjoying being a good dog, not the chaotic one I dropped off. He graduated this weekend, and I've already taken him to a festival with other dogs, and he was so well-behaved. At home, he's much calmer and follows directions, but still has that playful puppy energy without any anxiety. I'll definitely be coming back for boarding and any additional training because this place is truly wonderful. I highly recommend it!
